I strongly suspect only a minority share his opinions, but as we still just about live in a democracy we must defend his right to express them.

Lambert won't be able to form an effective partnership with anyone, he ain't a spring chicken like Balotelli or Sturridge are. Like Drogba at Chelsea his best use would be as a sub with 30 mins left to get you a goal you desperately need.

Whilst the matter of Sturridge is a worry for Liverpool at present, it has not exactly helped matters by his suffering a calf strain in training. The word is that he will be out for a further 4 weeks as a result.

You aired your opinion on a subject you admit you don't care much for in a thread populated in the main by people who do. You must have known therefore your comment may be replied to by someone holding a differing opinion. That is called democracy. Unfortunately instead of engaging in a debate on the relative merits of your argument you just shout down the person replying. That isn't very democratic. That, to me, is the actions of a WUM or the playground bully who stamps his feet when someone doesn't agree with him.
Now. Do you wish to debate the cost of watching football and the question of players wages or not ?

I was not at all impressed by his "whinging" in a recent interview, when he said that he assumed that poor results and associated dressing room lack of confidence was that something that Manchester United should have made allowances for.

If he had been a senior manager in industry whose management style could not bring results, what the dickens did he think would happen "in real life". I speak with the experience of being a senior manager in industry for thirty years before retiring, so on that matter, I can speak from experience.

Amazing victory that for Southampton and you have to feel sorry for Sunderland fans who made long trip down to South coast.

As was to be expected, Hyde lost 3-1 at Boston United, which sees them still firmly anchored at the foot of the table of Conference North with a grand total of six points, three of which came from their solitary 5-1 win over Lowestoft Town.

With an eye on how matters may well eventually end up after their seemingly unstoppable descent from the Conference Premiership began, I note that on Tuesday, 4th November, they have been drawn away in a 1945 kick off match in the Cheshire Senior Cup to Barnton AFC from the North West Counties League Division One. In the normal way of things, that should not be a problem match, but the normal way of things appears to be to something that Hyde are unfortunately are not privy to, unfortunately, in these sad days...
