Maybe the one that turns up will be the one that has beaten Man City Arsenal and Chelsea and drawn at Anfield this season. And has taken more points in games against the top 5 than any other.
Or maybe the rubbish one that has lost at home to Palace Fulham and West Ham.

The FA continue their hate for us we have been fined 3 points for fielding an ineligible player and a £5000 fine. Really fair Sunderland player plays 4 match's no points deducted

But you are in a different competition run by different governing bodies.
You have been punished by The Football League not the FA.
Sunderland were punished by the Premier League, not the FA.
Two different governing bodies, different rules different sanctions.
Sunderland lost all 4 games in question so no points to deduct, as the available sanction for the offence in both competitions is deducting points won in games played by the ineligible player

I totally agree with what you say above. What we have not to lose sight of in such debates is the fact remains that if any rules of any governing body are transgressed by a club, then punishment must surely be expected to follow.
It is ludicrous for any forum member to state that any vendetta is then being carried out by any ruling body against a club, when that club has actually transgressed the rules.

I believe Sunderland drew one of the four games.
It was a slightly different situation though as the player was actually a Sunderland player who had been on loan away. When he came back the didn't register him in the Premier League squad. He was actually registered as a Sunderland player.
But as other people have said it's two different bodies with two different sets of rules

Unbelievably York City made the play-offs comfortably, with a game to spare (proving several people in this thread right), despite being only outside the relegation zone on goal difference at the turn of 2014. A win in the semi-finals would be the 4th Wembley trip in only 5 years!

Got to lose at some point, if only to give everyone else around us a chance! :P
And there were too many draws in that unbeaten run. IIRC we had 14 draws in the 28 games we went with out defeat. If the club had managed to turn just 3 of those draws into win, we would have been promoted a couple of weeks ago, and been crowned champions.

Both Manchester City and Paris St Germain are said to be amongst 20 European clubs to have broached the UEFA Financial Fair Play rules. UEFA have made a settlement offer to all these clubs, which the clubs now have to decide to accept or if not, to try to negiotiate a lesser settlement.
The CFBCB board of EUFA who decide upon matters of club financial controls are meeting this coming Thursday, when this matter will be on the meeting agenda.

They were hollow warnings though. Talk of clubs being banned from European competition. When anyone with half a brain knew they would never ban any of the "big boys" as it would be akin to killing the goose that laid the golden egg. Could you imagine the reaction of the TV companies if half the big clubs were thrown out of the Chumpions League. Never going to happen. Especially now PSG are included in the big boy league following them being another oil sheiks plaything. Can you imagine Platini chucking out PSG hahaha yeah right.

I'm not sure, if chucking Man City out of Europe meant them getting Man United in then it might mean UEFA don't loose out financially. PSG and Man City might now be big boys but they aren't suddenly the most popular teams in the world.

Sunderland were done by the Premier League and by the Football League as one of Ji's in ineligible games in the C1 cup, plus Premier League Rules state
Sunderland got one point(v Southampton) during that run of games..And as I stated above they got done by the Football League for the MK Dons C1 Cup game

The first a small inconsequential affair involving Chelsea and some Madrid based outfit in the "champions" (?) league while in the other Darlington take on Ramsbottom in the Evo Stick North One play off semi final.
The winner will play Bamber Bridge on Saturday in the final!!!!

It is not all that long ago that Ramsbottom United were fined and had three points deducted for fielding an ineligible player in a match.
I note that Curzon Ashton finished as champions, nine points clear.
