Top 2 qualify along with best 3rd place with remaining 3rd place teams entering a play off.
A lot of people are saying have no chance as defence is so poor, but as long as keep scoring so many it doesn't matter.
What has happened to Henderson, last season I thought he was poor, but now he looks to be a top player. Suarez hasn't scored for 5 matches now, one Man team we were being called by all the pundits.

Not at all. Scotland don't have that bad a squad; it's just they seemingly can't gel, nor do they have a prolific goalscorer. They obviously won't topple Germany, but they shouldn't have any trouble against Ireland or especially Georgia and Gibraltar. Poland could cause some issues but since there is now the frankly laughable spectacle of third-place teams qualifying for at least the play-offs, Scotland should certainly still be in the running to go to the Finals when the group is completed.

Big result at the weekend. Portsmouth came to Scunthorpe and got mullered 5-1, combined with Chesterfield losing at Wycombe, that put us joint top. However, we could only draw 1-1 with Bristol Rovers tonight, with Chesterfield scoring 4 in the space of 9 minutes (!!!) midway through the first half away to Cheltenham.
The big positive though is that Russ Wilcox is still undefeated as a manager, a run stretching back 17 games.

I see that the two Manchester clubs have shown unanimity of purpose in registering 2-0 defeats in the first legs of their Champions League matches.

And with defeat last night Manchester United became the first team in this seasons round of 16 to have not won away from home, all the previous 5 matches ended in away wins (Bayer Leverkusen 0-4 PSG, Manchester City 0-2 Barcelona, Arsenal 0-2 Bayern Munich, AC Milan 0-1 Atletico Madrid, Zenit St Petersburg 2-4 Borussia Dortmund)
Although the trend of English clubs losing the first leg 2-0 still remains.

Sadly it was going to happened sooner then later that Droylsden will be relegated.
hopefully they will win matches before 26th April or they may go down in record or lowers points in season. Oldham lost 2-1 to MK Dons last night (same scoreline as it was 10 days ago when these two meet) and sadly we were poor last night, first half was just awful and we could easily been losing 3-0 at half time, second half were better ish and we scored 15 mins after the break which I felt we could get equaliser goal but saying that we didn't really test they goalkeeper that much after we scored.

Did you notice that it was Adam Rooney who left Oldham Athletic for Aberdeen, who scored with winning goal against Celtic last night ?

Sadly I didn't notice Rooney score again for Aberdeen, I think that five in six matches he scored for Aberdeen now since he leave Oldham.

The more I read about that scheme (by which I mean the season ticket system, rather than Man Utd ripping off their fans) the more I wonder how Man Utd have any season ticket holders at all.
As an example......
The official Man Utd website claims that Man Utd have played eight home cup ties in each of the last three seasons. If that is true for the FA Cup and Champions League, a season ticket holder for the east lower stand (the cheapest season ticket they do for an adult from what I can see) who watches every Premier League home game would have to pay £780 for their £532 season ticket.

I also read somewhere that notwithstanding the £300,000 per week they can afford for Rooney, if they fail to go through to the next stage of the Champions League The Stewards Money is going to be cut. :cry:

Chelsea managed to break this sequence, but only came away from the match at Galatasary with a 1-1 draw.
Real Madrid seem to be on something of a roll both at home and in Europe and won their away leg in Germany 6-1, with both C.Ronaldo and Bale scoring twice.
Its a very strange scheme they have for that - you must buy tickets or lose out on other tickets. How unfair can they possibly be!!
Did anyone watch the Real Madrid show last night? Totally fantastic.

Sky are reporting that their reporter Andy Burton has been banned by Man U. from any player interviews. This is because they took exception to his perfectly valid question asking what Ferguson thought of the present situation at the club.
Sky being the biggest and best football station in the world bar non will simply use conjecture and rumours instead which will do Man U. no favours at all.
Of course that club are no stranger to banning broadcasters Ferguson wouldn't talk to the BBC for years like the petulant little schoolboy he has always been.

Having spent 25 years being an "anyone but united" Liverpool fan, I've been taking it as a compliment that all my Man U friends now come to watch Liverpool games to support our opponents.
How long will they persist with Moyes, especially if he keeps coming into interviews saying "we're crap and it's all my fault"?...

They can probably afford to do that. They probably have enough potential customers who could fill the stadium a few times over if some real supporters stop buying season tickets.

Its not them stopping buying season tickets, its saying that in order for the cup game you must buy a CL ticket or else they will sell your seat.
Ill agree with the arrogance it shows mind you.
