We let The Owls off the hook today, out fought and out thought them in all areas of the pitch, for the final 30 minutes, but just couldn't find the winner.

Anyway, should get enough from replay and tv money to significantly ease our financial worries regardless of the result.

If anyone watching tonights highlights look out for our winger, Jack Mc Creath (7). He skinned their full back time and time again. Not bad for a kid that has yet to play league football.

TBH you deserved it, we are totally woeful and in dire straights. I feel this could be the end of our status in the football league unless something happens quickly (we only have Ainsworth and Dobson as coaches now :-? ) A new coach is desperately needed and possibly even a new manager, no home win in 8 and it shows. A very sad time to be a chairboy tonight

Plenty of hawks already watching non league football, as there are some superb players plying their trade at that level. Terry Hawkridge is comfortably Scunthorpe's best player this season, and possibly the best winger in League 2 on current form. Not bad for a player who was at Gainsborough last season.

Without Connor Wickham we are crap. I hope we win in the replay, but would not be betting on it, we are a total shambles. If your on about your right winger, our left back is only used as a battering ram at corners and to score, as he did, useless as a defender.

It does seem strange that whatsoever our forum members feel about Manchester United, that particular team does indeed still continue to be a major subject of discussion upon the Football thread, despite their poor league season so far and comparatively little appears to be written in comparison about the sides occupying the higher league positions in the Premiership.

That being said, it does appear somewhat strange that Liverpool and Oldham Athletic have been drawn against each other for three concurrent years in the FA Cup, with the home side winning the last two meetings (one win to each side so far). However, Matt Smith is now plying his trade at Leeds United and as the match is at Anfield, I expect normal service to be resumed result-wise.

Who we signed from Stalybridge. Trouble is, he's out injured (again!) for a couple of months ....

Spoke to him yesterday before our FA Cup game and his consultant hopeful no further surgery required ( already had two ops) so will be starting rehab ASAP.

His injury was caused by a shocking tackle at Cambridge that shredded his sock, shin pad and put a big hole in his calf. Should have been red card and if in Premiership Lineker et al would have scrutinised it from 6 different camera angles.

Hmm.... Not much to look at in the draw for the 4th round ....

Southend v Hull has the biggest potential for an upset, while Stevenage have got Everton at home.

As I type, Sheffield Utd have been drawn at home to Norwich or Fulham, so a potential upset there IMO, but generally, all the big teams have avoided each other.

Should Macclesfield manage to beat Sheffield Wednesday, then their reward will be a trip to Rochdale. This will probably be 1 of the TV matches.

I have no problem with him playing youngsters today, but he played the wrong ones, too many of them, in the wrong system and picked the wrong senior players to support them.
Managers talk about 'a strong spine', goalkeeper - central defence - central midfield - centre forwards. But Allardyce's most experienced players, Jarvis and Downing, were out on the wings. Jarvis is out of form (partly because Allardyce hasn't given him an extended run in the side) and Downing is only just back from twenty stitches in his ankle.

Come on, let's face it, that particular group are always grumbling anyway. In fact, it could be argued that having their sense of doom heightened is what makes them truly happy.

I wouldn't say I am a doom merchant but I am brutally honest when it comes to Leeds United.

I don't have delusions of grandeur like some Leeds fans do, I don't believe we have a devine right to be back in the Premier League and I don't believe we are much of a 'relevant' club anymore.

I do however support the team home and away, I was at Rochdale yesterday. It wasn't actually a bad day, got a free ride in a Police car to the ground because the bus laid on at GMP's request from the railway station didn't have any disabled access for me old dad, dibble excelled themselves yesterday. The Rochdale stewards are also some of the most helpful I've ever come across.

The performance of the team however was feeble. This wasn't a case of a smash and grab by Rochdale, they outplayed us in all areas of the field and deserved to win. I won't post a link but if you want to see the reaction of the Leeds travelling support after the game there is a video on Youtube, it's a brutal barrage of abuse directed at the players.

Next up is a short trip to Sheffield Wednesday, the bottom tier of the away stand has been closed to Leeds fans so no disabled tickets available in the Leeds end, so i'll be with the Wednesday fans. I best sit on my hands.

That strikes me as poor. I mean I know this isn't the premier league, but the Championship is an important enough league that disabled accommodation should be made available to all supporters home and away - I'm surprised there's no legislation which stipulates it actually. And Hillsborough isn't exactly a 'poky little ground of a newly-promoted club', is it? I'm surprised that there is no provision in this case.

Oldham did well tonight and the fans were a credit to themselves as always. I think once Suarez and Coutinho were on the pitch we were a bit too much for them.

It's because of the Leeds fan that hit Kirkland last season, the lower tier has been closed. I think it's police rather than the club themselves that have enforced it.

There is a few grounds were if you are disabled or you are a carer you are with or very near to the opposing fans.

I'm surprise to see Man Utd got knock out of FA Cup as knowing there problem at Old Trafford this season I still thought they will beat Swansea, I wonder when last time Man Utd lose Four out of last five/six matches at Old Trafford?

What was your penalty shout like mate? I was sat in the Kop so it was the far end from me. Thought it was a really good game on the whole, was made up with the result.
