I believe this was BTs plan to make sport free to their broadband customers so as to get a greater share on the landline broadband package.

A homer saves Chelsea again <(. What does Mourhino have in addition to his ability to stop time?

To be fair I strongly suspect it would have happened elsewhere too - if it had been Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool or Chelsea. Referees just need to grow a pair and stand up for themselves, and not bottle it like a scared 5 year old kid.

You are to modest to mention your own teams victory by two goals to nil against Cardiff - well done :p

I won't be as modest, 2-0 v Airdrie; maintaining what is now the last remaining 100% record in a professional European league this season I believe. :D

Southampton look like they will be ending this round of matches 3rd, with only Spurs able to catch them, but Southampton have a 6 goal superior goal difference. Lallana showed a great performance in front of Roy Hodgson, with a super individual goal to go with it.

Oldham 1-1 Wolves FA Cup First Round

Draw was fair results in this match, we start well and scored in 2nd mins and should been 2-0 up within 15 mins, Wolves should really equalised before they did but I would take draw before this match so not bad draw really, three times in months that we are going to be playing Wolves as replay will be played on 19th/20th of November but I don't think we can beat Wolves in replay to be honest.

Macclesfield won 4-0 against Swindon :o Oxford could only draw 2-2 to Gateshead, Hartlepool beat Notts County 3-2 and Brackley Town nearly pull off shock of day where they were winning 1-0 until Gillingham scored in 97th mins to ditch Brackley famous win.

Southampton could end up in 5th place after tomorrow fixture if Tottenham beat Newcastle and Man City beat Sunderland.

I read Southampton on 23 points, which is Liverpool's tally when I posted. Still who had Southampton as being flying so high 11 games in. I certainly didn't, and laughed when Wanyama said he joined Southampton as he thought they had Champions League potential.

Slough 3-0 down to Potters Bar before half-time turn it round to win 4-3!

Unfortunately, West Ham dominate the first half against Norwich, but only score once, then forget to play the second half and go on to lose 3-1.

Looking at the table, Stoke fans might start regretting calling for Pulis to leave soon. A good win for Norwich this evening against West Ham.

But then Norwich remembered who they were, and won OTBC!

I have inadvertently discovered I have a secret psychic power, Southampton have finished the round 3rd. Man City and Spurs both losing. Big results for Sunderland and Newcastle today

As a matter of interest was BT's acquisition announced on Sky Sports News

I don't know, I refuse to pay for TV channels. Freeview does the job for me. I have found BT airing regular taster matches on their Freeview channel.

Oldham or Wolves v Mansfield

Good tie for Latics/Wolves special been home to League Two team, I guess Mansfield will want Wolves to win the replay so they have trip to Molineux in R2.

Fleetwood v Burton or Hereford

I see Burton won 2-0 mean is League Two clash in R2 then.

Manchester United 1...Arsenal 0

....and it was Robin van Persie who scored.

^^ Good results that for Man Utd and very good weekend for Liverpool and Southampton with Tottenham losing 1-0 to Newcastle and Man City losing 1-0 to Sunderland in today games.

Oldham should win the replay with Wolves as our form for a long time in cup competitions has been absolutely abysmal.

I'm afraid we're a club in decline with a terrible owner who is desperate to get out but can't find anybody stupid enough to buy us.

Molineux is now a morgue for most home games, It's a shame because once I used to enjoy going.

I notice the Leeds fans who normally are so critical of every Leeds performance haven't posted at all following a good away victory at Charlton yesterday. Be nice to hear the positives from them about their team, as well as their negativity we normally get from them about their team.

Played the get out of jail free card yesterday, but it's a trip to Tyneside for the replay and then away to Wrexham if we win that. As we're unbeaten away this season in the league (and only lost to Charlton in the league cup), I'm quietly confident of a win on penalties...

In addition to BT stealing the Champions League from Sky, I understand they and the BBC will be showing the FA Cup from 2015.

Poor old ITV are going to be left with no live football at all. No wonder Roy Keane was happy to join Martin O'neill with Eire. Perhaps Chiles will be grovelling to return to the Station that made him. :p

BT is nearly three times as big as Sky and may prove to be their nemesis.

Successful privatisation ?

Oh dear. Perhaps if ITV were competent I would care. As for Sky I understand they make a lot more money off the domestic game so can't see this going too far until Sky lose some of the Prem rights
