It is much more of a red card than that of Nani's and it is classed as dangerous play for a reason given the fact he would have caused serious damage to Gomez had Zamora not gone through with the tackle fully (my opinion is he pulled out when he realised what was going to happen). There is no reason for his foot to be up there so he only has himself to blame

^^ I hope it doesn't come down to goal difference really but hopeful if Oldham can beat Bury next Saturday and got win somewhere else then I think Oldham should be safe as I can't seeing Scunthorpe winning two of they last four matches.
Scunthorpe last four matches - Walsall, Bury, MK Dons and Swindon (I can see them getting win against Bury but can't see them putting up points against other three teams)
Oldham last six matches - Preston, Bury, Yeovil, Crawley, Shrewsbury and Leyton Orient (I can see Oldham beat Bury and maybe putting up point against Shrewsbury and Crawley but if they play like the did in first half against Colchester and Carlisle then we might lost all of next 6 matches

Just notice on BBC Sports website that Chester fc win Blue Square North trophy yesterday and will be playing in Blue Square premier next season, is also they third straight promotion since the start new life from Chester City.

A draw at Loftus Road serves us well as does a home win at Stamford Bridge. If we could beat Fulham next week at home (doable) I'll breathe much easier

It shouldn't really have come down to that though, Charlton should have been well clear by then.
It was another embarrasing performance by Leeds, relagation is now a serious prospect, I don't see us getting close to winning a game at the moment.
Charlton's crowd was very poor though, you lot just stood in awe at our chanting and singing even though our team is a joke. Very dull little stadium.
Next up for us is Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road, 12.30pm Kick off. I don't see us getting a win to be honest, they will be up for it and our jokers won't be.

100% in it now. The worst thing is we don't even look like getting results, we are so poor it's incredible.
I am preparing for the worst, i've renewed by season ticket but i'm mentally preparing for the drop.
The one good thing is that at least we'll get to play Bristol City next season which is the best away day in football.
You should win that one, Bristol City have been very poor this season. If you get relegated at least you can look forward to an away trip there next season.

Huddersfield have landed very much on their feet with their run-in: four matches are against sides currently in the bottom six, and the fifth against Millwall. I don't think there's any way back for Bristol City, Blackburn I can only see beating Huddersfield at home and perhaps scraping two points from draws elsewhere, which I don't think will be enough, and I think Barnsley will join them in going down - they still have the likes of Nottingham Forest, Hull and Cardiff to play.

It's a shame that the Manchester/Trafford derby match tonight doesn't really mean alot. Fergie's boys can easily afford to lose it no problem.

Derbies between big clubs either end up being the dullest games in existence or quite good. I'm hoping the latter but something tells me it won't be as interesting as our second half at the Britannia. For real excitement the Championship has it all and I'd go so far as to say it's a better league than the Premier League (not that I want Villa to play in it. +1 for hypocrisy)
I wonder what the true fans of Manchester United and Manchester City must think, rarely getting a game on Saturday at 3pm? If you are one feel free to comment

Question for Matt: Do you think in Blackburn would be bothered if a second successive relegation came about, or would they consider it a chance to rebuild? What is your opinion on this?
My brother practically celebrates every time it happens (Especially when a Mr Le Tissier of Guernsey is covering it on Soccer Saturday.)
