I've had a go at the BBC Predictor thingamabob again, as with last year, and there are some rather interesting results that come out. Said thingamabob can be found
here; note it does yet include Fulham v Chelsea, West Ham v Man U or Man C v Wigan so I have added these into the table manually.
My table:
Code:
1 Man Utd +54 99
2 Man City +38 76
3 Tottenham +25 73
4 Chelsea +28 68
5 Everton +17 67
6 Arsenal +27 65
7 Swansea +7 59
8 Liverpool +22 58
9 West Brom -1 51
10 Norwich -16 49
11 Stoke -10 43
12 Fulham -10 41
13 Sunderland -14 41
14 Newcastle -14 40
15 West Ham -16 40
16 Aston Villa -28 37
17 Southampton -17 36
18 Reading -27 34
19 Wigan -34 28
20 QPR -31 27
The most obvious thing to note is that the final relegation and Champions' League spots are not decided until the last day. (And that West Ham hold United to a draw which blows their 100-point attempt, but otherwise they win every match.)
Villa win at Wigan and Southampton win at home to Stoke, while Reading - who start the day in 18th - can only draw at West Ham. On the other hand, 4th is up for graps at Stamford Bridge with Everton travelling there knowing a draw will do...
...only to lose 2-1
