He sure is. There is plenty of players that like to get mouthy with officials but it's the fact that Ferdinand appoints himself as judge and jury for everything. He thinks he is this great ambassador for the game who's duty it is to comment on all and sundry. His own behaviour leaves alot to be desired.

I'm sure Hibs being top after a 1/3 of the SPL season is a harbinger of the Apocalypse. I can't even remember if pre-Lithuanian Hearts held out on top that long! Like I said before, Celtic are in real danger of screwing up their SPL campaign by focussing all on the UCL.

Vlad has you all eating out his hands. You're as well giving your money to me!! Burley was 6 years ago, bit late to moan about that now. The Huns offered vlad 500k as a one off payment for Wallace which would have dug you out the sh it but he knocks its back thinking nah I'll just get the daft fans to cough up instead.

Was a fantastic player at his peak (Istanbul 2005?) on the wane a little now, but still able to get into the England Team

I think the whole 100 caps thing is damaged a bit nowadays by the fact that they only used to be awarded for full appearances of 90 mins, unlike nowadays where you only have to be on the field during official playing time to earn one (as in, if you come on and the game ends 10 seconds later, it still counts). Deserves credit of course, but I still prefer the old method of only winning one after playing either the full (or majority of) a professional match.

It doesn't actually surprise me that Gerrard still makes the starting XI as Butts implied, he an excellent player still and one of the very few who gives it his all every time, and has the ability to change matches too. He certainly seems to be ageing better than Lampard, it's just a shame the two never gelled. I would say him, Hart and Rooney are the three cornerstones of the national team now.

I must admit I didn't think a referee would be so stupid as to racially abuse a player, but there we go. He's still not one of my best-rated refs mind!

On reflection I wonder if he regrets not moving to Chelsea when he had the chance a few seasons ago. I fear he will never lift the Premiership Trophy, which is a shame for such a gifted individual.

Who is this Peter Herbert? I've seen several articles relating to him in the last fortnight, and all the articles although made to sound in favour of him, makes him come across to me as a complete idiot.

This anti racist group, from an article that was published on BBC sport last week, made out the group are anti-white. Supporting coloured players but anti-white is still racist, Was wondering if anyone has told them this

I just feel a bit sorry for Clattenburg in this... he's not a ref that I particularly rate (a Man Utd fan NOT liking a ref - shocking! ) but he's been hung out to dry a bit and had his reputation tarnished by what appears to be complete rubbish.

I'm not saying we shouldn't take racism and accusations of it seriously, but I was a bit skeptical from day one.

80 minutes gone in MK Dons vs Cambridge City - and anyone at Wimbo who was hoping to avoid "the traitors" will be rather disappointed, because as things stand, MK are 6-1 up! They have had 27 shots to City's two (on target 17-1) and are 16-2 up on corners.
