Arsenal are once again showing how good they are as a Comedy act. winning 2-0 at half time to be currently drawing 2-2 and after one player slips and loses possesion to score they then decide to score another own goal.

Tbf it was 2-1 at half time and the second goal wasn't an own goal as it was already heading into the net.

Also tbf, Arsenal just can't defend atm (this coming from an Arsenal supporter), it was okay when only one player couldn't defend (I'm thinking of A Cole here), but when three or four have trouble the team is screwed.

I'm so angry I can barely type after that game, we didn't help ourselves at the start but we were royally screwed over by the officials. Our 3rd goal was not offside and that farce at the end with blowing full time instead of for the most blatant penalty ever is beyond words, I honestly hope that the officials get whats coming to them and I most certainly do not mean a chiding from UEFA.

I am sure that our guys and Mancini will get a repremand and fine for going at the officials post match but honestly I'm suprised they didn't knock them out, I know I would have - probably why I no longer play.

Considering the insane amounts of money involved they need to get their calls right, none of this "only human" crap, that is no excuse.

A depressing night in Burnley to be honest for LUFC. A team completley without quality, ideas, effort. Another shambolic performance, the club needs a complete overhaul fast. I would rather start again in conference with fresh owners and players that actually want to play for the club.

Hearts are warning fans the club might not survive until the end of the month after receiving a winding-up order over a tax bill of almost £450,000.
The Edinburgh club issued a plea for "emergency backing" from supporters to avoid the prospect of administration.

Oh dear - two of the top teams in Scotland to suffer near-identical fates in a matter of months? Very sad news - and no just 10 days in which to find £450,000. If I was in Edinburgh, I wouldn't hesitate to go to Tynecastle to pitch in at least a little.

It has to be said though, ever since that Lithuanian guy turned up (was he Lithuanian?) the signs have been present. But with no SD3 option realistically available, what will happen to Hearts? For all we know, they could drop to the East of Scotland League - and then, to add insult to injury, Edinburgh City could easily be granted the 42nd berth in the League format that Hearts would have vacated...

All the more evidence that HMRC seemingly target football clubs when issuing winding-up orders! (Not saying they are - but it's a common criticism.)

I am remarkably silent as I'm not commenting on the matters, not through bitterness (as I genuinely don't care about them) but because, as you may recall there is now an informal block on me commenting on matters with regard to Partick Thistle, Queens Park and Celtic or any other team within Glasgow, or indeed anyone commenting on teams within their own city...

One thing I have noticed though is the Celtic fans who celebrate beating the world's best by spamming Rangers Facebook pages - have they really nothing better to do? There's also word going round of anti-British soldier banners being attempted smuggled into Parkhead tonight - can anyone confirm or deny that?

Well, I know that Independence for Scotland is one matter dear to the heart of Alex Salmond and the base at Faslane is one that will be under pressure if this should occur, but the matter of troops from the other remaining part of the UK being persona non grata on the land of Scotland is something that has not been much to the fore in the news since 1745. I know that Longshanks and his army were not very popular north of Hadrians Wall, but that was even further back in history.

Regardless of your stance when it comes to other Glasgow based teams other than Celtic, would you not agree that it is a very good night for Scottish football in general?

As to your point about the banners inside Parkhead, I have seen this picture on Twitter this evening. I do not vouch for it's authenticity however.

Here is one for our esteemed members of the "RailforumsUK Conspiracy Theory Club"....

Have Manchester United established a reciprocal arrangement with UEFA and their nominated referees who officiate in Champions League matches as what I read in postings that this club are said to have with the FA and referees in the English Premier League.

I ask this as I note that a penalty was awarded to them in the match last night when the score was only 1-1 at the time.
