Just looking at the scorers at Stamford Bridge tonight (so far), and it looks as though Torres will struggle to get back into the team at the weekend. Question is, which center half does RDM play up front along side Sturridge?

Liverpool 1 - 2 Swansea 2H.

Chelsea had two penalties against Manchester United this evening.

Depends what you define as "truly successful"?

Bryan Robson was certainly successful at Middlesbrough, even West Brom to a certain extent, the first club to avoid relegation from the PL whilst being bottom at Christmas.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won the Norwegian top division in his first ever season with Molde, their first ever title.

Just trying to think
Steve Bruce - done ok at mediocre clubs short term only.
Mark Hughes - underachieved at every club,
Henning Beth's record in Norway is worse than Steve keen's blackburn record!
Roy Keane, no more comment required.

Solsjaer has done well at molde though!

Auto correct changed berg to beth and I quoted from a BBC article, his management stats according to the BBC article is that he has a lower win rate percentage than keen.

Always liked Mark Hughes myself, done well at Blackburn and Fulham. QPR isn't working out at present but I'm not exactly too surprised by that. Steve Bruce has done alright. Been around the block a bit but put in a decent stint wherever he's been.

Our inexperienced centre half pairing are getting shown up time and time again a bit now. Shame but good experience. What a game I must say!

Ah, it's wrong then. At Lillestrom, it was quite close. At Lyn, it was far superior.

In reality, it's completely irrelevant though, two different competitions with massively differing quality.

He might be no good as a football manager, but Henning Beth is a very well-respected herbalist who is well known in the Scandinavian countries.

This looks like blatant flaming to me, but I'll answer anyway and say I really couldn't care less, the SD3 is all I'm bothered about us achieving in this season, the League Cup is just an unwelcome distraction at times like this, the only real advantage is the small amounts of income it generates. It also avoids the possibility of meeting Celtic! Well done Caley...
