I will always remember that shot by Frank Lampard in 2010 in the England V. Germany match where the ball did cross the line...by at least a metre... in this important match...and even that was not allowed.

Many years ago, when Oldham Athletic were at home to Manchester United in what was then a First Division match (prior to the establishment of the Premiership), a fierce shot from an Oldham midfield player scorched into the Manchester United net, hit the back stanchion and rebounded out.....and even that was not allowed. (Fortunately, it did not alter the result as Oldham Athletic still won the match).

so not many then in a hundred odd years, so quite an achievement in its own.
Kenny did it as player/ manager in 85-86, and then as manager again in 88-89. Dont think he won it as a player at liverpool other than when player/ manager.

We were never going to win that anyway. We got what we deserved. Of course, a Half-Time scoreline of 2-2 could have made a lot of difference...

The problem is if you give a yellow card for one tackle you're forced to do the same for the rest. IMO Saint Webb has lost control of the game slightly.
