You'll need to provide more than one example to support that conclusion.
Ashley Young dived twice in two weeks and got penalties on both occasions. Taking your example into account is it fair to say they get twice as many favourable decisions as unfavourable ones?

You mean the same game where Wigan had a perfectly good goal disallowed and then Johnny Evans escaped a CLEAR 2nd yellow in the 2nd half? ANY other player from any other team would have seen red that day, but not Man Utd's Evans.
Man Utd get bad decisions against them indeed, but "their fair share" certainly not!

This type of thing winds people up as well and Man Utd are the worst for it. Notice the tirade of four letter words from good old Paul Scholes as well.

Nearly forgot to mention that the mighty Leeds United won a game this weekend. Barndoor Billy Paynter scoring twice in what was a major chance for him to impress Warnock and he did just that. Ross McCormack found a bit of form as well to also score 2 as Leeds won 4-1.
Despite winning 4-1 we weren’t really that good but P’Boro were terrible, they gave the ball away way too often made it easy for our two strikers. Rob Snodgrass was by far the best Leeds player, caused havoc all game, I just worry he’ll be off in the summer, he’s way too good for this level of football. Charlie Taylor got a start at left back but looked out of his depth and apart from Snoddy the midfield wasn’t that good.
Warnock has a lot of work to do over the summer, I gather that Mika Varynyn and Ben Parker have been told they can leave. I hope I am wrong but at the moment I don’t even think the great Neil Warnock can turn us around. If he had the team we had 12 months ago, with Max Gradel, Jonny Howson and Bradley Johnson then I would have been hopeful but too much damage has been done to this team. I can see many years ahead in the championship for us sadly. Unless we get lucky and a rich owner comes in then this club will not progress at all, still, success isn’t everything!

Why is the FA Cup Final on May 5th and the Scottish Cup Final on May 19th ?
They always used to be on the same day

Wembley cheapest = £500 + with all the fees they add on
Hampden relatively cheap = £150 + with all the fees added.
Where do they get the tickets from before the clubs involved have actually started selling them - so called fans ??
Official Hampden hospitality now available for £235 Full Works, Champagne, Free Bar, 4 Course Meal, Half Time Refreshments and Free Bar after match for one hour, plus car parking space - not bad compared to the touts prices particularly for such a high demand match. Unfortunately I have to work the night before and of the match so TV will have to do. For any Hearts or Hibs supporters unable to get a ticket this is a great deal the seats are like armchairs.

Clearly favouritism to the "bigger" clubs in the league. Though, undoubtedly, there are some players worthy of being this list, I think several have had fairly unspectacular seasons. There are definitely some players in the less "bigger" clubs in the league who are more than worthy.

If you find out why you may wish to pass it onto the FA as they have the same problems when picking the England team.
I would also say that player of the year depends on who they play for. Hennessey has had a decent season, just the ten players infront make him look bad.
Who qualifies as a young player for that matter?

Anyway, maybe we should have an older player of the season too, for those 35+. Friedel would be my choice, as far as I'm concerned he's one of the best foreign 'keepers in English football history, and still playing almost faultlessly week-in, week-out at 41. Don't forget his penalty saving too, I think MOTD2 once said that it was he had the fourth-highest penalties-saves ratio of any professional goalkeeper in the world.
Anyway, maybe we should have an older player of the season too, for those 35+. Just don't even think about that... I haven't lived in chatham all my life (I wouldn't want to either!) I actually liked Man Utd from before they had all of the successful years (when i was about 4 in 1988
). I would argue against the points that you have mentioned but there isn't any point and i don't want the argument that it would bring. Unlike other fans i see when things are dodgy even if it is Man Utd, but its not like Man Utd are the only team that get dodgy decisions.If it means anything! (according to them Stoke have more dodgy decisions but that is what they have worked out!)

Well, what a game we have on our hands in North London now. 2-0 to Wigan inside 8 minutes! Bad news for Blackburn, Bolton, QPR and Villa (I take it Wolves have probably given up now, with all due respect). Apparently Wigan have only taken 200 fans tonight.

I don't think you are in a position to comment on that, they seemed to be having words for a few minutes before the final whistle, if you know what was said then fair enough, but I doubt it somehow.
Indeed, Wigan look to be in a good position now, which is remarkable considering the run of fixtures they have had. Even managers like Alex Mcleish may now see the chances of relegation increasing.
Irrelevant what happened during match time, as a sportsman myself, you shake hands with all the opposition at full time regardless of what has happened through the game, or at least this is definitely the case in rugby. Caldwell clearly attempted to shake Van Persie's hand and Van Persie declined, and avoided the hand shake.

Martinez is a great manager, I fancied him to keep them up even before they beat Man Utd.
Regarding the Van Persie thing, didn't see it but I certainly wouldn't shake someones hand if they had said something seriously out of order during the game. Obviously if it's just a sulky reaction because of the defeat or a tackle in the game then that's wrong, but Van Persie doesn't seem the type to be like that.
Before anyone accuses me of bias, I'm a Leeds fan , so only biased on the Wigan - Man Utd result !!

With other matters, am I the only one who thinks that making Chelsea and Spurs have a minute's silence for Hillsborough wasn't fully correct? I mean, surely it isn't for the FA to force clubs to have minutes silences for such a 'specific' event: surely they should make the choice for themselves, especially when neither side was involved? Yes, it was a tragedy, but it was over 20 years ago. AFAIAC it is time to move on. I mean, do Bradford refuse to play on the anniversary of Valley Parade? Rangers Ibrox? Juventus Heysel? No on all three fronts. I think the FA should have called Liverpool's bluff this weekend, they can't dwell on the past forever.
