Have Wrexham hit the self-destruct button in the last week, as Fleetwood Town are really pulling away at the top of the Conference, with not so many matches to play.

Ha, Wrexham? What about Luton (Mrs O's team) who seem to wish to avoid the embarrassment of losing in teh play-offs.

If nothing else, they are at least doing the "buying the title" method the decent way. not a hint of Crawley in sight. ...

They are - but they aren't being aggressive or arrogant about it in the same way that Crawley were. Crawley couldn't care less about anything besides money (and winning), whereas Fleetwood have at least shown some indication that they want the club to expand in the community. Fleetwood have worked their way to the top and are set to be rewarded (even if it did take a buck or two) - Crawley effectively cheated the other clubs and bought their way to the top overnight. That is the main difference; Fleetwood have money, whereas Crawley suddenly decided to spend a fortune instantly - and ended up in trouble with HMRC and others as a result.

Have they been seen in Fleetwood of late? I don't believe so.

Once again Arsenal lead their fans into yet another false dawn. Go on a run of 8 consecutive games winning and then lose to a relegation candidate. They were woeful today and now that leaves Arsenal fans to be wondering what the hell is in store when we play bloody Money City next week. Of course with the money bags winning today at Villa and the the team at the wrong end of Seven Sisters road probably going o to the Swans. That bloody 3rd postion is not safe.

Worst possible result for Wolves. We're now 6 points at the bottom of the table.

A good first half against Bolton but as soon as we let in a goal - and we always do - confidence disappears. Shouldn't take too long to return to the PL if we can find a decent manager (Chris Hughton?), hold on to key players and sort out the defence.

Of course, there are still 21 points to play for...

Apparently Perch tried to trip Reina - he certainly did something. Also, there was no contact when Reina attempted the headbutt; yet Perch went down as if he'd been executed by a firing squad, so just as unsporting from Perch in my eyes.

As a neutral, I have seen Perch mentioned quite a few times in postings in recent weeks, but he does not seem very popular with the supporters of his own team.

he has, until recently, been absolutely awful, so we're not too fond of him. over the past few games, though, he has improved dramatically, and in his current form, i'd rather have him than williamson playing with coloccini.

That incident brought shame to the Prem.

That was NOT simulation from Carroll. He got an unwanted touch, it put him off balance and he fell forward. He didn't appeal, so how can he be simulating? Very poor decision from the ref.

Kenny has got a few legitimate complaints though ....

Liverpool should have had 2 penalties before Newcastle took the lead in the 19th minute. Carroll was hauled down by Williamson, and Simpson should have been sent off for deliberate handball.

Cisse was offside as well when he scored his second goal.

Perch could have been sent off (I have seen them given), but I think a yellow card was right.

Carroll did deserve his yellow card for diving though.

You have to do that to every other person who has gone down theatrically on a challenge/headbutt/hand to the face incident.

At the end of the day Reina should not have even attempted to headbutt Perch and Liverpool have nothing to complain about.

I've watched the replay ten times and can't see a touch. What I can see is Carroll dragging his feet into the ground which causes him to lose balance and go down.
