Sorry to go back a bit, but I note a lot of you have mentioned the England game on Wednesday night. Having actually been there, I was not overly impressed by England's performance - until some of the fans had started to leave. By that point we were 2-0 down after some rather sloppy defending amidst what had otherwise been a fairly even game. Once the fans started to pour out, England started to pour forward, and then obviously scored twice and a draw looked likely - until Mr Diver decided he wanted to be selfish and score a second.

Anyhow, here are some pics from the game! (I took 88 in all.)

I can see that too, but the only source I can find is a certain Murdoch publication that is not worth the paper it is printed on.

If true, good on him. Whilst it is true that he could certainly afford to do so, McCoist is setting a good example - and showing how a manager holding a club "close to his heart" is often mutually beneficial to both the club and the manager. I can't see anyone at Hearts doing it, for instance.

You must have been a bit higher up from where I was sitting, directly above Joe Hart's goal in the 2nd half, we stayed till the end but even though we played ok Holland were much better 2nd half and deserved it

In his weekly addresses to the loving support of Leeds United, our dear leader has begun to attack LUST, whilst saying they are a small group that have no influence and are of no importance. Yet he dedicates part of his weekly rant to ranting about them. He started making personal swipes at some of the board of LUST, continually commenting on how they don't attend matches, how one of them lives abroad (says the tax exile from Monaco). Things such as a person purchase history with a company should be covered by the data protection act and by openly discussing the board of LUST's purchase history aswell as their names he is in breach of that, as well as several OFCOM regulations.

With regards to LUST board members not buying tickets, they have been banned from doing so! LUST's press statement on the issue. I would recommend any other Leeds fans on here join up to LUST, it is free this season however when my next chunk of student finance comes in I will be paying up for a full membership. We need change in how the club is run and Ken is making it clear he will not allow these changes to happen whilst he is still here.

not quite.....mccoist earns £1m per year, giving up his wage saves around £85000 per month that still leaves £915000 per month to be saved.

looks like the administrators are going to cut rangers to the bone in the next few days.

Thank you to Pauls Oldham today, i really aprpeciate it.

Whilst I have decried the effort that Oldham Athletic seem to reserve for their home performances, I have said it before on here that they seem to play much better away from home and with more spirit. An away match at second placed Sheffield United is not really a place to go with much hope and they were 2-0 down quite soon, but fought back to equalise and scored the winning goal in injury time to record an impressive 3-2 away win (and to move up three places in the league).

Chelsea sack manager Villas-Boas

Chelsea have (predictably) parted ways with their manager Andre Villas-Boas. Roberto Di Matteo will assume caretaker duties.

Pathetic Abramovic again. The best managers and best teams are not created overnight. He is a good manager - last season in Portugal showed that - he needed time and the opportunity to make the team his own, but if you can't bring instant success, it's out the door if you're in charge of Chelsea. That's why I'm so grateful of being a United fan with Fergie, knowing that there won't by any knee-jerk reaction if we go a little while without success unlike at Chelsea.

Just watching Fulham wolves on Sky. Fulham have played an attractive passing game, and have their reward for it currently fulham 5 Wolves 0. admittedly Wolves are poor, but Fulham have played excellent.

Wolves, Wigan and Blackburn I'd say for relegation. I've just gone through the bbc prediction thing, and there is no way i see chelsea getting fourth now, If Liverpool can start scoring and turn all their draws into wins then i can see Liverpool jumping over chelsea for fifth.
