It appears that Juventus have incurred a 15-point Serie A deduction, effective immediately which sees them drop from third to tenth place in the league. I suppose there will be the usual appeal against the decision, but did not the club lose a number of board members at the end of last year?

Seems to be bit of a 'hoo-ha' on social media about this one and whether the match referee might have been persuaded to call the match off (rather late in the day) by one of the two team's managements.

The home fans and some stewards were putting it about that the Darlo manager got the game cancelled because the pitch was frozen in one corner. it is crazy. If Armstrong had this much power over refs he has waited a long time to deploy it! The other week versus Chorley where the ref screwed us over twice would have been a better time to use it! BTW I thought it was the ref who made these decisions not the managers or players!
It makes no sense for Darlo to want the game off. We will have to come back on a Tuesday night which means at least 1 day and perhaps 2 days off work for the players and a long journey on the day of the game.
The simple truth is the game should have been called off yesterday. It has been freezing all week down here and last night was no different. There is a video of part of the area in question: https://twitter.com/matthew_bartram/status/1616793795084820485
EDIT - they did several pitch inspections yesterday and today and thought that was playable.

Yes the board resigned last year when Juventus lost £220 million in a financial year. One of the people involved is Fabio Paratici who is now at Tottenham Hotspur has been given a 30 month ban from Italian Football.

Hyde United have actually temporarily gone top of the Northern Premier League, on goal difference, after this result. Having a 4G pitch probably helped in getting the game on, when, elsewhere, just about every other senior Non-League match in the North West was off today.
There’s no such thing as too good to go down!

not this time - they are holed below the waterline and going down fast. Problem is they have sacked so many managers and spent so much money that you wonder if yet another manager could make a difference.
You've also got to consider the comments from the majority owner tonight: 'Not my decision'.

Personally i think those people are where the problem is. They seem to like spending the owners money to buy LOTS of players. It is like football manager but without any plan. There is just no strategy or direction, expect down.
What are they going to do when they sack Lampard? Who is coming in to improve things? Is there money to change the squad?
But this is the same Moshiri that said a couple of weeks ago that he had sacked previous managers based on fan reaction. So it's been his decision but now it isn't despite him being the apparent majority owner?
Except it's becoming more clear he isn't the majority owner. Despite the sanctions and protestations that Usmanov isn't in charge you can bet he is. Only last week it was claimed by multiple interviewees that during several rounds of manager interviews Usmanov was present and the strong impression given was that he is in charge, not Moshiri. Representatives of Usmanov won't deny he was present, Moshiri categorically states he wasn't so all of the candidates are lying.
It's a mess.

Not a great day for the Met Office and BBC Weather who were both forecasting that the sun would come up in Kidderminster at noon and the temperature would rise to 3 or 4C after a hard overnight frost and freezing fog had cleared. Were there to be an early pitch inspection, it was unlikely that game have would survived, but there wasn't. So I set off from Ellesmere Port not knowing whether I was going to Aggborough or whether I would be making a last minute dash to Bordesley and St Andrews.

At 1 pm, the ref said there were no major problems but didn't pass the pitch fit until 2 pm. The sun never did come up and the game started in light fog. This got worse and worse as the game progressed despite the Met Office still predicting sunshine at 4 pm midway through the first half. Fortunately with the score at 1-1, neither side really wanted an abandonment and the ref sensibly let the game finish, not that I saw much of the second half.
Apparently, just down the road, Banbury vs Darlington was called off at 2.30 after two refs had earlier passed the pitch fit. Darlington must have been gutted.
I remember complaining to the Met Office last summer when their inaccurate local forecasts messed up my enjoyment of the cricket season (or lack of it as the MCC did everything they could to ensure Yorkshire went down). They said their forecasts were computer generated and frequently updated and they didn't get them wrong on purpose. I believe BBC forecasts are now produced by the French.

I was flicking through the channels and saw the Chelsea Women vs. Liverpool Women match was abandoned after 6 minutes due to being unplayably frozen. Seems ridiculous that it could be inspected beforehand and deemed playable yet clearly wasn’t when the match kicked off.

I'd be inclined to disagree. Pitch was presumably only ever marginal at best, but a reasonable decision nevertheless to give the match a go, and then stop proceedings shortly thereafter when it was quickly established that it was actually "no go". No harm done!
