Went to watch Runcorn Town beat Irlam 2-0 tonight; stunning brace from Harry Kane.
Heart break for Juve but have to say that it was a penalty and Buffon losing the plot was totally unprofessional, whether he would have saved Ronaldo's penalty, and spared us the ridiculous shirt off celebration, we'll never know.

Was a pen for sure, but it did look like Vasquez had messed up a bit beforehand, Buffon might have saved any chance. But by such tiny margins matches are won. Was amazing scenes.

In all seriousness though, I think it's extremely selfish of Kane to claim a goal from his own team mate to try and get an individual award.
I wonder how Christian Eriksen feels about it.
I remember watching Kane in the Alty's reserves. He wasn't terrible IIRC, but he wasn't going to be up to playing Conference North football.
Incidentally, the Pavillions is one of my favourite grounds at that level, I really feel that it is very representative pf the town in general.

In the first leg, I don't think he was offside and his goal should have stood. However, Sané was offside in the second leg because Milner did not deliberately play the ball.
Sane was not offside. He was not in an offside position when the ball was last played forward by a Manchester City player (when the ball came in from outside the box by de Bruyne). You have to work backwards. Did Milner deliberately play the ball? No. Okay then, did Karius deliberately play the ball? No, because a goalkeeper making a save doesn’t count. Okay then, then did de Bruyne deliberately play the ball? Yes. That’s the last time the ball was deliberately played according to the offside law and nobody was offside.
Kane was offside against Liverpool because he was in an offside position when the through pass was made - the last time the ball was deliberately played, it was played forward by a Spurs player.

Absolutely, especially with Palace playing Brighton at home which is one of those weird 'derbies'.
Leeds lost to Villa last night 1-0. Our season is of course over but there were a number of positives, our young keeper being Man of the Match and another youngster Tom Pearce putting in a fantastic debut performance at LB. Our homegrown talent well and truly showed up our lightweight, diving, mercenary 'experienced pro's' last night, the youngsters attitudes and performances all being exemplary. Can't wait for the summer clear-out.
A number of Leeds fans seem to want Heckingbottom out, but he's playing with a dud hand. It's Victor Orta, our Director of Football who signed a load of rubbish last summer who needs the chop instead.
Edit: just finished Saints 2 Chelsea 3. Saints must be gutted.

Oldham took 1-0 lead at half time thanks to duck (Nazon) which look like going be massive win for Latics until left few mins when Latics player Moimbé got sent off for unknown reason in result Gill got penalty and score from it. This result leave Oldham on 20th places and only point clear of Rochdale who sit in 21st place and both of them will meet on Tuesday night at Spotland, whoever wins that will boost they chances of avoid relegation and if finishes draw then Oldham will probably need to beat AFC Wimbledon next Saturday.

I see Mr Kane has so far scored two very good own goals tonight 
Another solid and reassuring performance from Liverpool today. Mo Salah scored his 30th league goal of the season (40th overall) in a 3-0 win, with the other goals coming from Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino respectively.
In his post match interview, Jordan Henderson said Salah was going to claim Firmino and Mané's goals as well.
