It's because English players aren't very good. They are schooled to play in a particular way and we are playing catch up with the modern game.
People who think the EPL is the "best league in the world" are deluded.

The Championship is better than the EPL, as entertainment at least.
It may be the best, just not for English football. Only around 30% or less English players, which is skewed by a couple of the bottom five having a majority of English players. In the top 15 its something like 15%!
Where do the world's best players play? Spain.
Where is the atmosphere the best? Germany.
What is the EPL's unique selling point? It's a good league but it is not the best in the world by any measure.
The Spanish league barring the top 3-4 is very poor. It's funding distributional so means the two Madrids and Barca get all the funding with the rest getting very little.

It's not hate , it's a state of shock at Scotland scoring five goals away from home regardless of the opposition. Not sure the last time that happened

A disappointing defeat on Friday for Darlo ( 1-0 v Kidderminster). The step up to this level is noticeable playing full time teams. We have lost twice, both to full time professional teams but on the positive side both were close games.
They had 1 chance, took it and defended well. We made chances and didn't take them. On to Stockport on Wednesday.
Lancaster away in the FA cup is a tricky one. I have never seen us win there and last time we played our keeper was injured and the centre half went in goal and secured us a point!

A good win for Darlo tonight 2-1 v Stockport having to come from behind to take the points with several key defenders injured. Up to 4th now!

How is Liam Marrs doing ? A really good footballer and fans favourite at Boston. He used to travel down from Newcastle every week to play for us..

He looks a solid, steady and good full back for this level. It is early days for him but he hasn't put a foot wrong yet. I haven't seen all the games but in the ones I have seen he seems decent and a really good signing for us.

i find it quite interesting to read about different teams that aren't in the premier league and don't get air time. I even look out for Hyde and Darlington results amongst others now because of this thread!

Why are you trying to start an argument, if you read my post you'll note I said nothing was wrong in talking about obscure teams.
I was simply saying it was unusual which it is.
