Marlow suffer their first defeat of the season while Winchester remain amongst the early pace-setters. Our players should not have to (and should not have) surround the officials to get a second viewing.

For what it's worth we just lacked that last bit of quality today in my view. Rooney just disappeared out of the game too much to have an effective impact. Mitrovic and Thauvin looked promising for Newcastle.

Fair does Spurs are a decent team but they won't finish in the top four and they don't appear to offer much going forward at the moment. There is no doubt that you need a top notch striker but not surprisingly they remain very hard to get. How do you rate your chances of signing a striker before the end of the season?

Difficult to say to be honest. Depends how attractive we are to the sort of striker who could come in and make a real difference. While he is not a top striker, if we could get Hernandez back and firing on all cylinders like he was a few years back then that would give us a major boost.

I just don't trust us in the transfer market at the moment. Getting deals done seems to be a particular stumbling block; the post-Ferguson era and the impact losing him had is well-documented, but losing an experienced negotiator in the shape of David Gill and him being replaced by Ed Woodward should also not be underestimated.

Going back locally for a moment. 1) Great to see former Hereford United player Mark Pugh score for Bournemouth today, 2) Also good to see Hereford FC come from behind to win 4-3 and be featured on 606 this evening.

I'm not sure that Hernandez is good enough to get 20 goals in the Premier League and to be fair to Ed Woodward he came up with the goods last season. Can see yourself signing Muller from Bayern? He seems to be the most realistic option at the moment. I really can't see you signing Neymar who you were linked with today.

Draw was the correct outcome, perhaps 2-2.
Both goalkeepers earnt their keep, both were in excellent form.
