In fairness,it was only the flick by RVP which made him offside and it was the slightest of flicks,still offside of course but just not that obvious in real time to pick out I don't think.

You's weren't good enough today,even with the chances you's created but it was like us a few weeks ago,wins breed confidence and although we haven't played particularly well,that win at Arsenal has spurred us on,sometimes all it takes is one win.....I hope yours is a long time coming.

You can't knock a side that has won 6 in a row but Liverpool should have had at least 2 goals and you should have had one chalked off.

Suarez would have won that match today for Liverpool.

We'd a lot more shots today than in the game against Southampton,we played better also but then,home and away statistics should generally be up and down.

Yeah I'm sure they are and I think he will go eventually but hopefully not for a while yet.

I would say give him to the end of the season, but it depends whether the owners will trust him with funds in January after how he wasted the last transfer kitty.

The question is who would you replace him with. Big name managers would normally own quit a job end of season. Saying that we are closer to relegation zone than top 4, maybe we need Tony Pulis :roll:

Rafa has made no secret he will be quitting Napoli at the end of the season to return to living with his family in their home on Merseyside (his family remained in their Merseyside home so as not to unsettle their daughter from her school). BBC Sport will receive a hammer blow on Monday, the morning after their flagship Sports Personality of the Year show, with news they have lost Football League highlights rights to Channel 5.
The Football League are due to announce a three-year deal with C5 for all their divisions plus the Capital One Cup, starting next season.
C5 won the contract with an estimated offer of £2million a year, which was marginally better than the BBC’s, and a pledge to screen their show at 9pm on Saturday.

I wonder just how many times that I have to draw attention to the fact that the goalscoring deficiances of one team cannot be blamed upon the opposing team, whose job is to prevent them scoring. The blame solely lies with side that does not take full advantage of their own goalscoring opportunities.

No striker starting, dropping Mignolet when he has finally started to look to be gaining confidence, and its not like Brad Jones is en experienced back up.

Is there any truth in the current rumour circulating that Brendan Rogers had said that Mignolet has been "dropped indefinitely"?

Yes, I believe that's a direct quote from BR. As inconsistent as Mignolet has been, he actually put in a decent shift on Tuesday night (there's nothing he could have done about the goal). So of course it makes very logical sense to drop him and his huge amounts of experience (including playing the likes of Real Madrid twice in the space of a month and the World Cup over summer) just as he picks up form and replace with an Aussie who in 13 seasons has chalked up 140 appearances and judging by today's performance looks bang average - he couldn't get further away from the shot for the first goal if he tried. If I was a Bournemouth fan I would take heart from Rodgers's actions yesterday, definitely so if I was a Gunner.

Anything's better than Leroy Rosenior and Steve Claridge debating Nottingham' Forest's formation in what looks like a disused warehouse at half midnight on a Sunday morning. Hopefully the 9pm slot will raise awareness of it, despite being on a lesser channel: it's certainly better for example for an Accrington fan and either going to bed and watching the highlights the next day, or waiting until one in the morning for a twenty second clip. Nothing I have seen from Channel 5's coverage either suggests to me it's worse than ITV's offerings. Literally their only redeeming factor is Roy Keane.

Not certain about Channel Five, but it really can't be any worse than the shockingly poor BBC offering. Manesh Bhasin and Steve Claridge are so bad I prefer to wait 24 hours and watch City's goals on the Sky website.

As for Mignolet, he needs a kick up the backside, and getting dropped would do that. It worked for Joe Hart and Szczesny. Though Brad Jones has always been mediocre at best, he wasn't even first choice at Middlesbrough, so his performance isn't too much of a surprise.

I also agree Mignolet has been in poor form recently, or at least not been 100% but then again what's the solution? Replace him with an equal (at very best) ability Brad Jones who seems to have been at Anfield forever and not had too many appearances. If I'm honest, I am in firm belief that we should have kept Pepe Reina, though some may beg to differ.

We have had a transfer embargo imposed on us after failing another football league test.

Still, Nottingham Forest away at the weekend and that's always a good trip. I suspect they will help us on our way to the bottom three

The 9pm slot sounds appealing. I would love to watch the football league show, but no was Can I stay up until gone midnight. BBC's football league presenters are worse than anything I've seen on C5.

AFAIK it was an error by the football league, Chesterfield had all but written permission to play the defender (which the FL didn't ask for, nor required). McFranchise didn't argue and accepted they lost but the FA/FL decided to replay the match in North Bucks as a normal replay
