Strange that no one has mentioned the now confirmed points deduction at Coventry after being ruled to be "in administration". Now the only thing to decide is how many (at least 10). Promotion dream over.

It has been decided that it will be a 10 point deduction which will put Coventry City down to 14th place in League 1.

Mind me asking, why all the hate for seemingly random football teams? I can understand Blackpool and perhaps Blackburn but not Crewe, Leyton Orient, Coventry or Notts County. There are a lot of teams I'm not particularly keen on but there's not many I'd say I hate, certainly not to the extent you appear to. I can understand if you get frustrated if they get a decision against you or whatever but does that really necessitate the hatred of an entire football club?

Crewe: not even sure to be fair, they beat us and that's it.
Notts County: Took out our best player and broke his leg.
Coventry: knocked us out of the JPT with an offside goal
Orient: their captain knocked our top scorer unconscious and attempted to do the same to our left back. That backfired on them at least.
I hope this sums it up. I pretty much hate anything and everything

Well I do like the Canaries and have been to Carrow Road on a few occasions but I still believe that the Britannia has the best atmosphere in the PL, followed by Goodison Park (of all places).

That said Stoke's old Victoria Ground did have an amazing atmosphere too, so perhaps a fair bit of credit goes to the fans oppose to the facilities...

For the record though, old grounds always have a better atmosphere than these almost prefab structures clubs go for these days. We know why they choose them and can't blame a club for it but in terms of atmosphere they are shocking...

I'm sorry he has to feel that way, I genuinely don't believe that (in this country at least) it would be a problem - all I care about is that the 11 men on the pitch are playing for the shirt, for the badge, for the fans, for the honour. Whether they are black, white, gay, straight, Proddy, Catholic or anything else is immaterial.

Amen. I understand that at the time of Roger's resignation he stated that he wanted to discover himself. Fair enough, this can't be faulted in any way, shape or form. I disagree with what he has to say though, I don't think your teammates would particularly judge you for being gay, as long as you bang the goals in or stop them at the other end that's what truly matters in football in my eyes.
I hope this doesn't deter him from football forever. He's a talented young chap and should really re-enter the game soon. I know some gay/bisexual Sunday league players, does that affect how they're judged? The answer is: 'not really'. They may get stick, they may have chants aimed at them, but at the end of the day it ain't their fault and only the minority do judge gays. As has been said, it's a game of kicking, not of sexuality.

All teams in League One was in action this afternoon with Oldham got good point against Swindon which Latics was hanging on in last 10 mins, Scunthorpe was only team in bottom 7 to win this Afternoon mean they move above Oldham in table but Oldham have got three games in hand on other teams around them.

I have just looked at the updated league table which says that Oldham Athletic are one point behind Scunthorpe United, as you say, but with a better goal difference of 10 than them.

However they only have two games in hand of Scunthorpe United.

I notice Hyde won today 2-0 against Wrexham which is other step close to safely and also mean Hyde have won five times in row now, also in same division I notice Stockport are in bottom 4 which if they same there until end of season they will be playing in Blue Square North division next season, only three year ago they was in same division as Oldham, show u have bad they drop in last three and half year.

EDIT: I notice Man Utd have become first tram in Premiership (since it begin) to win 25 out of 30 games, no wonder why they heading to be crown premiership champions with that record.

Not sure about Leicester but for us O'Neill only knew one real style (counterattack with pace at Villa Park) so when teams got wise it was easy to stop it. There's a good reason we didn't do well at season's end

My latest predictions table. Sees Man Utd crowned on 17th April. SS4 you take on Sunderland in game week 35 I believe. The only game I foresee Sunderland not losing is at home to Stoke. BBC predictions didnt give me the Man City vs West Brom to predict, not sure which venue its at but I would probably call it as a 2-0 to Man City

Look who's back at Stevenage!

League One side Stevenage have appointed Graham Westley for a third spell as manager.

Westley, 45, ended a second, three-year stint at Boro in January 2012 to take charge of Preston North End.

He was dismissed by North End in February after and has returned to the club he previously led to back-to-back promotions.

Westley replaces Gary Smith, who was sacked on 20 March after a run of 14 losses in 18 games.

"Graham was keen to come back to Stevenage and, although I met some strong candidates, without doubt I think he's the best man for the job right now," said Stevenage chairman Phil Wallace.

"The club enjoyed a great deal of success before he left last year and we moved forwards significantly in his time here on several levels.

"Since he left we've continued that progress in people and infrastructure off the pitch. So we spent a lot of time this past week talking about things we feel we could do better this time round and we've put many of those into our contractual arrangement."

Stevenage are 15th in League One on 50 points, 10 clear of the relegation zone.

I thought the match against a top-three side like Wrexham would have been a real test for Hyde, especially noting Wrexhams' FA Trophy Final success the previous week, but as you say, Hyde have now recorded no less than five consecutive Conference Premiership league wins now.

As you say, the sudden fall from grace of Stockport County has certainly been sad to see.
