Great game in the Welsh Cup tomorrow: Mumbles Rangers v Evans & Williams. Sounds like a home win to me if the opposition can only field two players!!
I always love it when Keith and Clyde play each other in Scotland's lower divisions because I always imagine two blokes throwing barstools at each otherGreat game in the Welsh Cup tomorrow: Mumbles Rangers v Evans & Williams. Still better than you get in the Highland League, where Keith can only get the one playerGreat game in the Welsh Cup tomorrow: Mumbles Rangers v Evans & Williams. Sounds like a home win to me if the opposition can only field two players!!
This is Wales though, you can easily find 11 players called Evans or Williams!Great game in the Welsh Cup tomorrow: Mumbles Rangers v Evans & Williams. Sounds like a home win to me if the opposition can only field two players!!
You obviously have a vivid imagination. The two clubs (Keith and Clyde) have never actually met in a league match, indeed there's just been two Scottish Cup pairings over the years, once in 2017 and again in 2021.I always love it when Keith and Clyde play each other in Scotland's lower divisions because I always imagine two blokes throwing barstools at each other
Oops. I was remembering the 2021 cup match. You obviously have a vivid imagination. The two clubs (Keith and Clyde) have never actually met in a league match, indeed there's just been two Scottish Cup pairings over the years, once in 2017 and again in 2021.
yes, I know that! £3k Better off for that win.Actually it was in the 2nd qualifying round, 2 more then it's the 1st round proper, when Division 1 & 2 teams come in , then the 3rd round when the Championship & Premier League sides appear.
Hope you get a good draw on Monday.yes, I know that! £3k Better off for that win.
thanks - I am surprised we got this far the way we are playing! Ideally a smaller team at home would be best but it is pot luck.Hope you get a good draw on Monday.
FA Cup 17th Extra preliminary round: Darlington 3 v Workington 1
First home win since March. We needed it badly.
We definitely won't be drawn against Darlington![]()
MaybeNot this round. Maybe the first round![]()
No, but Hyde United have played Darlington in recent times in FA Cup early stage matches, which @DarloRich will note.Maybe
Pretty sure we've never played each before?
We're getting to the point now where there's a vague impression of who the "teams to watch" will be in the Championship. Leicester looked decent against us, Norwich looked better but largely because we were so poor that day... unfortunately it's looking like our new owner's reaction to that performance on social media has put Mr. Warnock's nose out of joint. Having won our last two games, rumours now abound that Wednesday night's home game will be Warnock's last. Supposedly all will be revealed at a presser on Monday. After Friday's win at Southampton we doing well and well on course to get back to the Premier League. Only another 40 games to go.. ...
I cant think that we have.Pretty sure we've never played each before?
We don't have a great record in those games! No, but Hyde United have played Darlington in recent times in FA Cup early stage matches
I have to eat humble pie. Plenty of grumbles from the Mumbles as the wonderful pairing of Evans & Williams won 2 - 1.Great game in the Welsh Cup tomorrow: Mumbles Rangers v Evans & Williams. Sounds like a home win to me if the opposition can only field two players!!
If he ever parts company with Stoke, he would have a decent career as a TV/radio pundit with in-depth analysis like that!Stoke manager Alex Neil after Stoke’s 1-0 defeat at Norwich:
"The goal was the defining factor in the game really…..”
Another Welsh Cup match saw plenty of goals for both sides....with the home team winning by the odd goal in nine.I have to eat humble pie. Plenty of grumbles from the Mumbles as the wonderful pairing of Evans & Williams won 2 - 1.
Leicester being at the top of the Championship is no more surprising than Luton and Sheffield United being at the bottom of the Premier League. It's the direct result of the financial imbalance between the divisions. After Friday's win at Southampton we doing well and well on course to get back to the Premier League. Not entirely. If it were purely down to finances then Leeds United would also be in the top three in the Championship as they're a year-1 parachute team, and Luton would have never won promotion in the first place. The imbalance is a problem for sure, but if it were so decisive there'd be no point bothering with the football at all.Leicester being at the top of the Championship is no more surprising than Luton and Sheffield United being at the bottom of the Premier League. Considering the connection between Stoke City and Bet365 company I’m not convinced that having money behind you guarantees success.Leicester being at the top of the Championship is no more surprising than Luton and Sheffield United being at the bottom of the Premier League.
