Folkestone Stations - London Terminals

I may have to go to Kings College (Denmark Hill) on Thursday and would be looking to go into Central London afterwards.

Now the cheapest ticket I can find is the Super Off Peak Day Return to London Terminals (£14.90 with 16-25 Railcard) but my query is, would it be valid for a Break of Journey at Denmark Hill? Or even Herne Hill? I can take a bus or walk from the latter, no problem there as I've done it before.
