Folkestone harbour station

Hi all,

Can anyone shed some light on what is to become of this station. I know network rail have officially closed it off the network now and it has been some years since the last special went down there. However, I did once read that a preservation group were trying to start up to save the line and the viaduct into the station. Sadly I can't seem yo find out whether this was successful or not. Any information would be happily received. Thanks.

They did send a loco and a couple of GLV's down there a couple of years ago. Think they have to do this every few months to stop the land reverting to its pre-railway owner !
