"Flying Scotsman" is running from York to Southall, via the ECML, on Thursday. With that being the case, will it not subsequently be reaching Didcot from the Reading direction, rather than Oxford (and Culham)?
Hey anyone know what the flying Scotsman is coming through culham on route to didcot this week end.
It's not a tour, it's at Didcot Railway Centre for the bank holiday weekend, entry strictly limited to ticket holders only.I have checked all the steam tours and no mention.
The specific timings of the trips often aren't publically released until short notice, but the dates of its tours and appearances are no secret, the loco has its own website after all. Also, I understand the Flying Scotsman trips are no longer shown in the public domain as a result of irresponsible people encroaching on the line and delaying this and other trains.
If posting details of Flying Scotsman's whereabouts aren't entirely frowned upon on this forum these days, then here you go:Have you any timings for that? I am travelling up the ECML on Thursday morning
