Flying Scotsman re - dedication ceremony - Edinburgh 28 October

For anyone in the Edinburgh area on Wednesday 28 October, there will be a re - dedication of the 'Flying Scotsman'.

This will be after arrival of 1S02 into Edinburgh, with the set then forming 1E10, 1000 to Kings Cross.

A bit tacky, but reasonably well executed nonetheless. Nice to see a return to a more traditional form of the winged thistle "headboard".

Your information is out of date, I believe that happened in 1948.

As far as TOPS is concerned, the loco is in fact number 98872.

I like the front actually but still hate that virgin livery. Looks cheap and tacky.
