Marking its 100 year anniversary, Flying Scotsman has been on display this weekend in the Doncaster Freightliner terminal.

I can remember taking my young son to Doncaster on Saturday 26th February 1983 to see Flying Scotsman on display. Back then it was in single chimney form without smoke deflectors, and the occasion was to celebrate it’s 60th anniversary into service (24/2/1923), almost to the day!
