Went up to shildon the other day but at about 1400 - was very quiet which was great for seeing FS up close. Get yourselves up there. Free to get in.

I believe it's operations support expires this weekend (was Ian Riley) so does this mean it will take up residence for the next few months / years ?

It'll remain at Shildon after the 7th (although not on display, whatever that means?). Presumably it'll stay in storage until the NRM decide what they're doing with it, so who knows about timescales?
