Not sure about the vehicles, but Prospect certainly swap out drivers on the 980 at Coventry. If I recall correct the 920 Birmingham-Airports is also Prospect, do they interwork?

I believe they do 920 > 980 > 980 > 920. Which coach were you on that was tatty? The triaxles seem to be brand new on this route?
A new service UK030B is now shown on BusTimes
Starts 23rd July, 1200 from London to Glasgow, with a return journey starting the next day 0850 Glasgow to London
There is also a new single journey UK020B from Birmingham to London 0715 from Birmingham, 2100 to Birmingham which suggests it’s a 2 day overnight duty, run probably by Prospect
A 26 plate I believe.
Crikey okay! On a vehicle that's essentially brand new not having USB is borderline criminal.

Bit of an OTT reaction, so what if it doesn't have a USB, who cares if tech obsessed people can't charge the phone, watch the video etc, just look out of the window and charge the flaiming gadget at home! Can't stand em lol!
It's useful on bus companies that are keen on taking payment off the bus and have an app on your phone.
I don't think you have to be tech-obsessed these days to have a phone you might want to give a bit of charge to. The tech-obsessed are likely to have a power bank, anyway.
That's quite a strong reaction to USB ports (you might even call it OTT). Most people who don't need them just ignore them.
Exactly this, especially when Flix prefers mobile tickets.
Was it a Flixbus liveried vehicle, or not, as the Flixbus website says there should be charging facilities, so you’d assume the standard Yutong have them, and considering how much of the network Prosect seem to have, you’d assume their Irizars should do as well

Are Irizars one of those weird buses where the USB charging is in the overhead panel near the air con and light controls?
It's showing on the Flix site and all bookable. (Screenshot below shows extract from the Flixbus site showing the 08:50 030B from Glasgow to London is bookable on the 24th July. Other 030B trips are bookable though)

While I use Flix grudgingly on the same basis as I use Ryanair because sometimes you just have to, I would have to concede that one thing they do well is that the driver has a list of the names of passengers. If your phone isn't working they can check your ticket by name.

No, not USB ports (although to be fair some are a pain as they stick out on buses and catch your knees) I meant mobile phones in general. I'd be delighted if they were all suddenly banned lol.
I did have one driver on a Flixbus service, who insisted that the ticket had to be scanned when my QR code wasn't showing. Citylink was a bit more easygoing when my QR code wasnt showing and ticked me off.
Mobile signal can be really poor, I get no signal in Edinburgh Bus Station. Other times in busy places can be hard to get a decent signal for tickets to load.
Two round trips on the 003 seem to have been withdrawn, so there are now 3 journeys rather than 5
An extra round trip on the 008 to Nottingham and 021 to Liverpool seems to have been added and there are more trips on the 024 to Birmingham
There are new trips on the 044, including one which starts/ends at Swindon
There is also an extra round trip on the 046 to Swansea which includes a positioning journey to/from Swindon

These were withdrawn a few weeks ago with resources moved onto boosting the 005, 007 and 024.
021 has no extras as such but more reinstating regularly cancelled Chalfont trips and so they have been retimed and moved to another operator. The 021 should have been 6 buses per day for a few months.
The 2 'fast 024s Cov/Birmingham are placement trips for the retimed 021s.
The 008 is a brand new service with 2 buses running Notts-Leeds-London-Leeds-Notts or Notts-London-Leeds-London-Notts. Very strange service and it would make life much easier of Flixbus just used the same route numbers from the core network (Leeds trips on the 008 could be renumbered into 002. Nottingham - London trips renumbered to 004 etc).
Summer specials by the looks of it. They drop off the timetable from end of August.
Similarly looks to be a summer special.
Took the 930 from Leeds to Manchester Airport. The Leeds stop at Eastgate was a bit of chaos as local buses were terminating there due to road closures, the flixbuses were struggling to get parked. The 930 was a little late and parked pretty much at the lights, I was worried the coach would just drive by.
The service goes via Bradford and Huddersfield, we went via the western side of the M60 rig road to the airport.

These will be operated by Newbury & District using debranded Flightline 730/731 Plaxton Panthers, freed up up by new Irizar i6S coaches due to enter service on Flightline tomorrow.

FlixBus have really hiked up their prices on the Exeter-London route, especially on the N49 for the Summer, its now about £70.00 plus return booked few days ahead, compared to £16.99 each way before summer. National Express are similar, so if go day out to London during summer, i‘ll drive as it will be similar money or cheaper, and a lot more flexibility.
Apart from the ones that are obviously number plates they're hexadecimal codes, most likely ones the manufacturer puts in to ensure duplication is unlikely if operators don't put in the bus/coach numbers.Fleet list – FlixBus – bustimes.org

With the pvsair regulations coming in October for scheduled coach services has any next stop screens been fitted on any flixbus coaches yet ?

It's not applicable to long distance routes, defined in the legislation as any where more than half the route is not registered (i.e. the stops are at least 15 miles apart) for which the phrase "non-local route" is used.
Most, if not all FirstGroup vehicles on Flixbus has it fitted as standard.

Of all the Loch Lomond Travel 090 services (which is registered as a local bus service with tickets tendered via Flixbus) I have been on as of late, none of them had any attempt at PSVAIR compliance.
Purely out of interest, which company operates UK 905 service Gatwick to Leeds? After many years, since the early 1970's I'm having to reduce, after several cancellations and refunds , my bookings with National Express and moving over to Flixbus
It appears to be Chalfont Coaches from what I have seen. A former NatEx operator too! It's amazing how many have come over Flix!
