Flexible tickets, northern app

Frequent user of flexible tickets on northern, but the last two have diminished faster than they ought to (duly reported).
Thought about checking a different TOC app, but most involve faffing with a smart card. Are there any (others) that don't?

If you want help you will need to be clearer about what you are trying to buy and what problems you are experiencing. I'm guessing this is something to do with flexi-seasons but I could be wrong.
