Flexi-Season Questions

Flexi-seasons give a discount of 12.5% compared to the standard anytime day return. It is not much, but better than nothing.

They are designed for people who commute twice a week. I need to commute three times a week.

Can I buy a new flexi-season after I have used up eight journeys, which will be before the 28-day duration? Does a flexi-season expire once you have used up all eight journeys?

I would not be travelling from the same station all year (I use a different station further away in the summer), otherwise an annual season ticket would be roughly the same price as 48 weeks of 3 ADR tickets. The journey in question is Epsom to London Bridge/Waterloo (and Gomshall to London Bridge only in the summer for four months).

That is your supposition. Officially they are designed for people who travel regularly but not 4/5 days a week.

Yes, there is no problem at all with doing this. Incidentally, the validity is for eight days of travel, not eight journeys - once activated each day gives unlimited travel between the stations named.

Does a flexi-season expire once you have used up all eight journeys?

Yes, of course it does.

This is very helpful. I presume a Gomshall to London Terminals ticket (not via Guildford) is valid via Epsom or Redhill.
