Hi folks,

Is it still possible to get rail/ferry combined ticket to Fishbourne on the Isle of Wight?

If so, can someone tell me where the ferry is issued from (and the Code/NLC) on the ticket as I cant see Gunwharf Ferry Port anywhere in any station/destinations lists. I'm assuming PCF Portsmouth Cont. Ferry Port is for destinations to France etc?

Thanks :)

SWT say they offer it on their website (by calling them), I was more curious as to how they issue the Ferry Part of the ticket. I know Fishbourne has an NLC (0881) but cant find anything for the Portsmouth end. ;)

I would have thought rail/ferry combined tickets would normally be via Portsmouth Harbour/Ryde Pier Head as the Portsmouth Gunwharf and Fishbourne terminals are for car ferry traffic and are not rail connected, indeed foot passengers would have to walk about 10-15 minutes from Portsmouth Harbour to the Gunwharf ferry terminal and some distance to/from the nearest bus stops on the Ryde-Newport Road at Wootton.

There are various options:

Portsmouth Harbour - Ryde Pier Head
Portsmouth & Southsea - Southsea Hoverport - Ryde Hoverport
Lymington - Yarmouth
Southampton - Cowes East/West
Portsmouth - Fishbourne

All are supposedly available as through tickets :|

I think I may have cracked this - the NLC I found for Fishbourne may just be to do with former Sealing services!

Does anyone have any ticketing info on Sealing destinations i.e. CRS codes/NLCs Ports etc?

Just curious :)

There aren't any fares to Fishbourne. Options from Portsmouth are either Portsmouth Harbour - Ryde Pier Head or Southsea Hoverport - Ryde Hoverport (with a shuttle bus from Portsmouth & Southsea to Southsea Hoverport)

Interesting the SWT offer it then. Has there *ever* been fares to/from Fishbourne?

Would it be the case then that the NLC was used for Sealink purposes?:|
