First Wessex Jurassic Coaster

Hi I am heading to the Dorset area for a few days and thought I would sample the First Jurassic Coaster services.

I have couple of queries and hoped some on here could shed some light for me.

Do First sell an adult (one) day ticket for these routes?, I found details of a group firstday on their website but nothing for single passengers.

Do they usually allocate single or double decks to the X52 route to Exeter?

Normally the attached, but also streetlites are seen. This pic was last Saturday whilst I was out doing promo work for the Jurassic Mule.

First Wessex don't appear to have any day rider equivalents

There is now a First Day Wessex Plus which is valid on all services including the tourist 510 from Weymouth to Bridport. One warning is that the branded livery vehicles for the 510 are Plaxton bodied Tridents with First's minimalist seating and the service takes longer than the X53. Otherwise a Weymouth - Exeter Return can be used as a day ticket in between

I suspect the lengthy pause at the top of Abbotsbury Hill is not just to admire the view.

There is the X54 and X55 that run via Osmington, where you'll see a hill figure of King George III on his horse.

Going by the timetable that I have in front of me the £12 FirstDay Wessex Plus can also be used on other FirstWessex services.

Thanks for the responses. Think I will get the £12 Firstday for a day out and hope the X52 is double deck on the day - a couple of hours in a Streetlite isn't too attractive!

Indeed so, given it's an ex London Trident.

Although for First, I'm not quite sure that's what they were intending.
