Singles are fully on 376 today. I thought they were just doing Street-Wells with singles and Bristol part with Streetdecks. 69458 and 69446 seen so far. 69439 on 174.

66724 is now in Wells. With the red bit of branding for 7 still. It's on 126 today.

Why did they do this?

From 1900 on Friday to next Sunday 30th October, the A39 The Causeway between Street and Glastonbury is closed to all traffic.
Mondays to Saturdays BoS 55 and 77 are providing the service on diversion between the two places with FWoE 376 terminating at Glastonbury Morrisons and turning on B&Q roundabout.
In the evenings 376 is running to Street via the diversion using B7RLEs.
Sundays when 55 and 77 do not run, 376 is using B7RLEs Street to Bristol.
That is why the Wells Streetdecks were not in use yesterday.

Thanks. Is there a low bridge on the diversion?

No, but narrow roads and the danger from overhanging trees.

Although yesterday (Tuesday) Trident 33378 was on 1135 Yeovil-Wells 77.

Hi Tom,
I saw it on Wells Depot around 12 30 today being driven into the Depot yard so guess just arrived then. There was another B7 there so wonder if that was 446 waiting to be picked up.
Noted 66724 on 175 also.
Cheers, Mike

That's when I saw it too.

I'm told it arrived on Monday and 69446 went too then. It was in service yesterday, but I'm not sure about today.

35148 is supposedly in Wells according to Steve White

I just experienced the newly refurbished 69458. There appear to be a few small rattles still and the annoying squeaky rattle appears to have moved to 69457. They have put 3 opening windows on the passenger side and 2 on the drivers side. These come fitted with big holes where the refurbers have cut a hole to remove the old window and not filled it with resin. The resin at the bottom of the window looks like someone from Glastonbury high on something used this to hold in the window - it looks like I could even do a better job and that really is saying something. When the usual bus smells go, the distinct smell of resin comes up and smells awful.

A red training B10 is in Wells depot this morning :)

Think it's either 66206 or 66207 just seen leaving Wells on training.

69446 is now back in Xplorer livery. It hasn't had its seats done like 69447. 69444 is still here so I guess 69445 has gone (although I thought I saw it in last couple of days).

I might suggest that 69445 will be the last to be done, as it was put in to urban a couple of years ago. Sure it will be done eventually, but it is less urgent, and they can at least get their money's worth a bit more by pushing this one back.

It's confirmed that 69445 is still here at the mo.

So with a spare Streetdeck now on a permanent fixture, guess which vehicle is on 376? That's right 69438. That idea went down like a lead balloon.

And 69444 is on 376 today too

With the A37 closed and a lengthly diversion via Keynsham can you really blame them?

Although I don't make much use of the 376 I can't say I do blame them. Very tricky by the sound of it and First say on Twitter that there is now a police roadblock on the A37 at Airport Road so no buses at all Chelwood to Airport Road until the mess (which, I hear, is an RTC involving a car and a tanker) is cleared up.

Problem is that there is no easy diversion at the best of times especially for buses. For car drivers, it just compounds the problem as the road is already currently closed at Belluton Narrows between Pensford and Stanton Drew (for Wessex Water??)

Diverting the 376 via Keynsham is sadly the only option but it is a sizeable diversion hence why they probably need another couple of vehicles on the 376 today

Didn't realise that Chelwood was closed off again this morning when i wrote that, so it explains a few things. Although 35167 is supposedly away, 35161 had a smashed window on Saturday, so they might still be down by a couple of Streetdecks.

I just missed the closure last night - caught a 376 at Pensford at 8.04 and accident happened at 8.15.

I'm trying to find the new 376 timetable online. First have one on their website but it's dated 8th November 2015. Is that just a mistake?
I drove to Bristol yesterday not realising the road was closed, glad I did as got home at a reasonable time. Waze gave me a route along the lanes and saw two lorries stuck on the lanes by Woollard. One PCSO was sent up there to figure out how to reverse them!

They haven't taken the old one down but the new one is also there too https://www.firstgroup.com/uploads/maps/Service_376_WEB (2).pdf
