I've got an interview for this post next week in Manchester and just wondered if anyone has any insider knowledge about what to expect?

http://www.reed.co.uk/jobs/customer-information-assistant-first-transpennine-express/22000483

Specifically, are First's interviews for office based jobs structured in the same way as their driver and conductor ones - ie are there lots of "give an example of a time when you....?" type of questions? The ad also refers to "aptitude assessments" in the last sentence - again, any ideas what these might entail?

Lastly I'm a bit bemused as to why the job is only temporary for 3 months? Is this standard for First's office jobs?

All help very much appreciated!

I don't have any particular knowledge of First, but in general most interviews for any job these days will include questions along the line sof describing certain situations you might have faced, along with the actions that were taken and the outcome.

Again speaking generally, there could be a number of reasons why a job is temporary for three months. The post holder could be seconded to other duties for that period, off sick, maybe for an operation or other planend treatment, it could be because there may be additional workloads for a temporary period, or it could be down to funding.
