Working from South Yorkshire for around a year on the buses but lived here all my life. I'm not that far ahead of you really to be honest but it is a lot to take in as you start, you'll still be learning the tricks of the trade for a while yet!

Yeah me too, from Bolton on dearne. Ready for the career change after driving wagons over the years. Would have preferred to work out of Donny or Rotherham but gotta take what I can to start with.

Sheffield has newer vehicles from what I can tell, so that's a plus point! If you've driven wagons then you probably won't be bothered by early starts and late finishes which is good because I believe Olive Grove has a lot of them compared to the other two!

Yeah definitely used to the earlys and lates mate. Not done shifts before tho its all new in that respect. Bit apprehensive about the possible grief that can come with human cargo so to speak. Do you get lots of hassle of the customers? Do you tend to stick to a set number of routes as well? Cheers mate

Different companies arrange routes differently so I have no idea tbh with first. But human cargo is pretty unpredictable, although in honesty most are not too bad, you will come into contact with so many people though that on average you will just meet some of the more unpleasant ones!

Well, all is going perfect!! Great training facilities, instructors are sound, passed mi hazard perception today and doing theory tomorrow. Been out driving today, definatley helped me confidence wise having driven lgv before. Seem a great company to work for and know how to build confidence in new drivers. Could not ask for more
