First Hull trains; Damage to rolling stock and service disruption?

Hi Guys,
John Prescott has posted a link to the Hull and east riding newspaper website article which says there is major disruption to FHT services today due to damage sustained to the fleet.
Anybody got any idea whats caused this damage?
