The Streetlites/E200's/E400's are replacing the older buses. But some of those buses are modern and get more money out of them? Not sure tbh

I find it odd that they are for sale as far a few years ago when First Sold Buses to another firm only for them to be used against them they stopped selling Buses and just scrapped them

Yes it does seen very odd! Just don't know why, as recently the SPD's in Bath have all gone scrap

I'd led to believe that the decisions to sell vehicles now are now placed with the local area managers again, so it's likely that more First Bus vehicles will get sold on to other operators at some point.

That Dart's an odd one though - this and a NC Oly were both for sale a few weeks ago, both being in the new livery which IIRC was originally to be for the low floor/post R vehicles anyway!

It looks like First are finally getting rid of some of the R reg stuff. Good to see they are selling off stuff - and it looks like the best of it as well. Good job.

Can't see why anyone would buy them - they won't meet DDA legislation in 17 months time so could then only be used for school/closed contracts. Perhaps just going for scrap or parts ?

Most likely it'll be for spare parts so do expect to see some 56 plate Eclipse or Gemini running round with the tradional bench seats.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see some of these turning up on school routes, with the DDA deadline approaching older buses are getting cheap enough to run on a short contract without worrying too much!

i can see these getting converted to DDA complaint, i think the only thing the Scanias are missing is a Ramp

Be interesting to see if they do attempt to make them DDA compliant. If it was that easy/cheap then First would have done it.
