I have been sent a photo of the fleet displacement sheet that purports to come from Kernow staff. There is NOTHING labelled for Glasgow on the sheet.
There are however, 11 e400MMC, 6 Solos and the 4 Ilesbus "Mousehole Minibuses", that currently have no new home marked against them.

I have also been told Glasgow must be due something as staff are reportedly being picked up by a "King Coach from Aberdeen" to head south at the weekend.
Surely they should be for us then, Would Imagine the Mousehole Mercs will go to Kings Coaches

11 MMC’s doesn’t really solve the shortage? That would surely just cover the X25/X25A?

33394 now tracking on the 5. Not sure if this is the beginning of Scotstoun’s E400MMC transferring to Caledonia in place of repowers or if just covering as Caledonia is short.

Cross-posting from the West Yorkshire thread as Streetlite 47596 has transferred from Glasgow to Halifax although it never tracked in Glasgow.

What were the MMC fleet numbers? I just assumed we were getting all of one of the two batches

Perhaps the Mousehole Mercs could be used on the recent SPT wins?

I'd doubt that, they were already talking about getting rid of one of the existing Mercs last year as they don't see much use. That said it doesn't help that the existing pair are both manual so not all drivers can drive them.

I believe the 73 plate Tourismo (24212) is destined for King Coaches however replacing the large Sunsundegui (20812).

One is often used for route training, but the trainer drives it. I wondered why the new drivers did not drive it like when service buses are used.

I think the random Gemini withdrawals aren’t helping at the moment with the fleet shortages.

Like sometimes you get one withdrawn for a while, only to have it go back in service, like 37225 for example, which has been put back in service to replace one of the Ex-Manchester Geminis being withdrawn.

I'd imagine that it had a unit failure whilst the ex Manc one probably had some more terminal (like corrosion). The Geminis are on notice but guess it depends on the results of ScotZEB3

There is a planned movement of buses from Cornwall on Sunday to head north to Glasgow.

A team of drivers are travelling south on Saturday to collect 18 vehicles and drive them north to Glasgow –
they are 11 ADL E400 MMC’s 33450/452/3/5-562, 6 Optare Solo SR’s 53255/7/8,53862/4/5 and one Mercedes Tourismo coach 24212.
They are being collected from Summercourt on Sunday, with an overnight stop at Adderley Green.

Seems like most plausible fleet numbers so far, thank you

Looking at photos, the WK66 batch seem to be full height, which means we won't see them on the 60/A or the 61.

11 MMCs will fully cover the X25/A. Interesting that select Ultraviolet examples were retained, maybe the interiors are not suitable for Glasgow?
