It's hospital it's been there for over 10 years there's a few stops with H flags

What a stupid concept! It doesn’t identify which hospital, or indeed which route number you need. As for the description ‘Access to Healthcare’ why not stops dedicated to NTS properties (for mindfulness) or public parks (walking)? Even the description is a misnomer… any hospital, or just A&E and a health centre? I cannot even find a press release to find out who thought up this as a good idea.
Strange number plates on these. Are these ten years old?

Most repowers are that age (2015/16) - these are dateless plates to disguise their age. That one was formerly on a few First Kernow vehicles

The are actually very useful especially in the city centre it means rather than check every bus stop you just check the stops with a H flag , similar systems are used all over the UK
Side note - It was tracking as 71051 on Bustimes, IDK why.

I discovered there was a £20k 'grant' given to SPT to provide the signage from two NHS Trust Areas - so whilst the stops get an enigmatic 'H', I don't believe the travelling public have been briefed in any meaningful way and I don't think the stop timetable frames do either.
I would think that most would know which hospital they wished to go to, and by default which was the most appropriate route to use. The term 'Access to Healthcare' as the only description is ambiguous also. I get it when stops heading to Glasgow Airport have an aircraft taking off which is at least descriptive, but 'Healthcare'? Do they mean A&E, Maternity or a Health Centre? Even in Renfield Street, you could end up at Victoria or QEUH at random. Clearly an opportunity to spend some money because a focus group thought it a great idea.

There was tons of publicity at the time of launch and it's shown on all the publicity to this day in NHS publications and even in letters from the NHS.
In the grand scheme of things 20k is peanuts. It’s pretty self explanatory what the H means and I’m sure there used to explanatory signage at bus stops.

Double it - that was the contribution from each of the two trusts. Yes, the sign confirms it is Healthcare. Of the two stops I looked at (Union Street) there was no explanation evident.
The route plate at the bottom in blue tells you which hospital - New Victoria / QUEH etc. The route numbers are coloured for the buses that pass the hospital.

The timetable for the new X43 (Motherwell - Glasgow Fort via Bellshill and Tannochside) is now up on Traveline Scotland.

Guessing Overtown will run it? It would be a good thing though, since they’ve been getting a lot of Ex-Aberdeen Streetlites.

The timetabling suggests so! Could be wrong, but it could also just be one driver all day with a break in the middle of the day.

As it’s weekends only, it doesn’t require an increase in vehicles.

I know it's weekends only but it needs 2 vehicles it's hourly with a gap in between 1pm and 3pm be the same if it was through the week as well lol doesn't make a difference when it's ran, they both leave on the hour heading in each direction lol, when a bus is leaving Motherwell one will be leaving the Fort at the same time

It won't require any more vehicles at the depot as the peak vehicle requirement on a Saturday and Sunday is lower than Monday to Friday.

Yes, I understand that, but it doesn't need any extra vehicles as weekends have a reduced pvr at the depot over all the routes.
