Yes and some e400ev and e200ev well that's the depot rumour
If that were to be the case hopefully some new buses would be on the horizon to replace them at Caledonia. Would be nice to see some Yutongs but looks like it’ll be more Wright stock.

Yutongs for the singles and the new e400evs for me don't like the wright double decks

Just on the 38 today the new ticketed are being introduced. Driver told me they are tablets so when one is needing replaced they just swap over tablet instead of replacing the whole machine pretty neat

They are pretty good to use and responsive but I wonder how they will be in a few years time, they certainly don't look as heavy duty as the old screens. They are Samsung Galaxy Tabs of some sort.

I also saw a new ticketing machine on an 18 earlier today, so probably multiple depots involved.

Does First receive a subsidy for operating 247, or do they operate it commercially? Every time I have seen it since it started operating it, it has either been empty or only had one or two people on board.

Well I guess that’s why that working happened:

Probably was a trial to see how electrics could work at Blantyre.
It wasn’t a trial Blantyre were short of buses and that was sent on loan from Caledonia for a day and kept local incase it started to run low on charge.

Will just need to wait and see what comes next but my guess would be more wrights.

I‘m struggling to understand the way in which the new logo is being applied to the ultraviolet livery on single deck vehicles. Both Streetlite vehicles below (not my photos) have been applied differently. One with the larger fleetname on the side and one with a smaller one up top, the other one doesn’t have the one up top. Is there a standard way of applying the logos or do different depot staff do it differently?

It just got fixed, it was down for like an hour or so. But there’s still some timetable issues:
Issue with Traveline.info data which spread onto the bustimes site, initially it was showing routes from around the Caerphilly area as being First Glasgow's. Everything has seemingly been sorted now. First Aberdeen was playing up too

Another ADL development - a positive one, hopefully - in partnership with KleanDrive they've established a repowering arm, named AD Repower.

Will be interesting to see if Glasgow start repowering their E400MMCs? There’s the 65/66 E400MMCs that are of similar ages to the Streetdecks being done just now. At the very best it would be good if they’d start doing the 68/19 E400MMCs and give them a refurb whilst they’re at it.

You would not expect them to do anything until they see how successful the supplier is with the Wrightbus product that it has just ordered.

The first two StreetDeck newpower‘s have entered service on the 38. I wonder if they are going to be based at Caley south or if they will eventually go to Blantyre as rumoured?

I don't even think Blantyre has started getting charging points put in yet, so the Repowers should stay in Caley for a while.

Would be nice for Scotstoun to see some electrical deckers too. They’ve got chargers but have only seen E200EVs so far.

One of the repowered Street decks has already been on a 2. Believe there's plans to repower E400s so that may be the Scotstoun opportunity.

Bus Times can be a bit doubtful at times. However Scotstoun are looking to run electric double deckers on the 2. Which run during the Day To supplement the E200EVs.

Would be better with nice new E400EVs though, but repowered is all towards the First Glasgow plans to go electric if it happens. The plan to repower E400s was recently on Route One.
