I assume you mean Presidents seeing as the ALX400s are also on the Trident chassis?
Not an expert but the Y to 02 plates at Glasgow .

Not much tbh since a good few have been scrapped recently. How many Presidents are left with First Glasgow?
They do . Both decks ,all seatsI believe that Stagecoach's buses on the X25s have seatbelts. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
The tridents have come to dominate Glasgow for about 10 years now so it’ll be bizarre not to have them roaming the streets any longer. There are still B7TL tridents on the X8 which are really good buses not sure how long they’ll be kept for.
I noticed a lot more B7TLs/B9TLs on the 60 today. Seems to be more decker operated again which is good to see.

Plan is to have all presidents scrapped this year
Yeah late 2007 was the first ex London invasion unless the T reg ones were earlier .
Seen more deckers on 77 and 3 which is a good step , Scotstoun did lack deckers for a while .
Still tridents on all the usual haunts , 38 for example . 31 is your best bet .
Still a few but not as many as there was. More due to go within the coming weeksStill most i feel , 31 is usually all trident weekdays .
Think some T reg tridents started to arrive as early as 2006 but could be wrong. I remember being on a 61 which was a B7TL and being able to see over into Parkhead depot where they were all stored waiting to be painted from red to barbie and many looked like they’d seen better days. Wonder how they managed to drive them up here....
Also noticed this. The 77 and 3 routes have been mainly deckers. Noticed a few deckers on the 2 recently. One of Scotstouns E400s with leather seating were on it the other night and also seen a few B9TLs. Perhaps they’re realising capacity is needed on the 2, 3 and 77 sometimes singles are just too busy. Would be nice to see some newer E400MMCs on the 2 it’s been single deck now for about 7 years.
Have all the new buses arrived for the 38 yet?

What im wondering is say the 31 has its tridents replaced by B7TLs , after 2022 , what is gonna replace them ? E300s ?
According to the records I've kept and give or take a couple of months I reckon the London Tridents into Glasgow went something like this-
2005: 20 T reg
2007: 16 W reg
2009: 17 T reg, 2 V reg, 9 02 reg
2010: 8 V reg, 17 W reg, 8 X reg 12 51 reg
2011: 7 W reg, 12 X reg, 21 Y reg 5 51 reg
2012: 12 51 reg, 33 ALX 53 reg
2013: 5 51 reg
2016: 1 51 reg, 2 02 reg
No guarantees but I think that's a rough guide!

What a mess they made. No wonder so many new buses are required now. For most routes it was a complete downgrade from having new stock at one point. I especially recall Parkhead getting the oldest of buses and Larkfield getting the nicer (at the time) 51/02 plates which were far tidier and in much better nick frankly.
It’s hard to say as 2022 is 3 years away. ADL may introduce a new decker design in between that time or First may decide to go with another manufacturer (unlikely but not unheard of either). Permitting also newer stock form down south or other subsidiaries isn’t cascaded into Glasgow also to speed up the target being met (something I think is very likely). Remember there will be Euro 6 converted B9TLs about too so it may see them unless they are going to go with singles for the 31 but I’d doubt it as it can get quite busy.
According to my notes 33091/2/4/6/7 came in 2013 and 33093/138/139 from FSE in 2016 but as I've said mine were only rough notes so not guaranteeing total accuracy.Suprised some arrived after 2012 , i thought the alx400s were the last . The v and w reg were short lived
First 38 with 19 plate in Caley.
77 will be getting new vehicles in this batch.
If any service would make most use of deckers it,s the 77 as it,s load after load to the hospital and back all day and most of the passengers board at partick to hospital/braehead its only 15 min max so if you can get away with e300 more profit happy days.Has it been 100% confirmed that the 77 is receiving new deckers then? Also do we know how many and if they’ll be branded? I wonder if they’ll keep some E300s on the route alongside them as don’t think it requires deckers all day. I’ve noticed they’ve fairly relaxed having mainly 63 plates on the 77 as I’ve seen a few 62 plates and 13 plates as of recent and the ex-hospital connect branded buses are mainly on the 2 and 3. Guess that’ll free up some more B9TLs that Scotstoun uses.

Glasgow bus crash firm given formal warning after inquiry
First Bus Glasgow has been issued with a formal warning by the Traffic Commissioner following an inquiry after a crash on the Clydeside Expressway.
The inquiry found broken bolts on the nearside and offside rear suspension of the coach which left the road near the Clyde Tunnel on 29 April last year.
It is a pretty busy service I definately think deckers would be good on the route. It would also free up B9TLs for refurbishment and they could be used on the 60/60A/41. Also the E300s could start being used on the 9/9A as some of the B7RLEs that are branded are very tried inside.
Surprised deckers haven’t been ordered for the 1. The B9TLs for that service are hammered everyday and have also seen better days internally I’d say.
If there where seat belts on that urban bus the injured could have been a lot less.Oh dear- https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-47407789 - 7 immediate prohibitions for broken suspension bolts on E300s, formal warning from the TC about inspection regimes on a known issue, First claim the inquiry is nothing to do with the Expressway crash
The driver came off worst according to that report, he does have a belt on an E300 AFAIK. If the suspension had been inspected properly, the accident probably wouldn’t have happened. If there where seat belts on that urban bus the injured could have been a lot less.
If the bus had not been inspected properly why no fine or someone charged someone has to sign bus of safe for service but same as a car pass mot drive away hit pot hole and break spring within 10 min leaving mot station. The driver came off worst according to that report, he does have a belt on an E300 AFAIK.
