first great western shifts and rotas

hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me and possibly explain or give any knowledge on the kind of rota/shift pattern worked on fgw London and Thames valley out of Paddington. Also how far in advance would drivers recieve their rotas.

Is there any staff parking at paddington?

I appologise if these question are tedious and have previously been answered elsewhere.

It's a classic three weekly cycle of Mon-Tue rest days week one, Wed-Thu rest days week two, and Fri-Sat rest days week three thus giving you a long weekend of five days every third week. You're rostered two out of four Sundays although these can be declined with a week or so's notice (or declined en masse); and generally it's two weeks of earlies followed by two weeks of lates. Earliest start in Link 2 (of three, but the bottom link is I think empty and I know nothing about it) is 0219 and latest finish is 0207. There's also a night turn at the moment.

The roster changes every eight weeks but this is usually tweaks to start and end times - the basic rest day structure doesn't move.

There is ample staff parking about a 10-12 minute walk away opposite Royal Oak LUL.

Anybody got any info on Exeter, I know they have 4 and 5 day rosters but was curious about earliest start/ latest finish etc, any info gratefully received either on here or PM if you want to remain anonymous.
