I may be wrong but i don't see ATW running more services along the South Wales coast

The hourly ATW Manchester to Carmarthen service is a huge improvement on what "local" services went before west of Cardiff.

In my opinion, rather than 2tph Swansea - Paddington, what about reinstating some trains to Portsmouth? Or Newcastle/Edinburgh?

I just seen advertised in FGW summer timetable for the West Country service a service leaving Paddington at 1135, stopping Reading, then non stop to Lostwithal ! Its a Newquey service arr Newquey at 1652. Thats non stop through Taunton, Exeter, Plymouth places you'd never usually go through without stopping. That'll be interesting.

Not quite, until June 20 Exeter & Plymouth are setting down points. From June 27 it will still stop at Exeter & Plymouth but to pick up only.

This operates Saturdays only.

On the departure boards at Paddington, it will be "Lostwithiel, NEWQUAY"
