They have now started to be delivered, and what great vehicles they look too

Seems a good upgrade on the existing fleet, although It'll be interesting to see how they hold up as the build quality of the Enviro's tends to be less than the Gemini's mostly.

I'd much prefer them with seatbelts, as the current Geminis have, but what is there looks fantastic and much needed!

Very nice indeed - especially with full coach seats and upper deck cooling.

The comprehensive white LED displays look good - wonder if this will become standard for First.

Well yes, that is by far the most critical point here. You can dress up an Enviro with an attractive livery, leather seats and nice destination blind, but at the end of the day it is still an Enviro. I bet it will still steam up in winter. It will still rattle. It will still be bumpy. If they really wanted to give us quality then they would have bought a high standard German bus.

They seem to have got the seating position perfect. No window frame digging into shoulders there! (Take note Stagecoach South West!)

I like the looks of those E400s and I also think the comprehensive LED displays are a good idea. Wonder if First London would ever have LEDs like that? Potentially they could well do!

First day in service gone by and already a good few defects been reported, one vehicle could not enter service due to several defects, another one died en-route on it's first day, and a good number of them have problems with Air conditioning fluid leaks in the drivers cabs.

Sounds about right for ADL buses.
