Fares are priced zonally across the Virgin Trains network. First Class Advance one way, London to / from: West Midlands £19, North West £24, Wales, Lancashire and Lakes £27 and Borders and Scotland £34

Tickets are available for booking at virgintrains.com/telegraph between June 25 and July 1, 2010 inclusive.

Tickets are available for travel between July 24 and September 5, 2010 inclusive.

Nice one that

I have loads of Rail Travel Vouchers,so I had planned another ALR this year, albeit 7 days
Sadly I have missed the "summer" due to work, and really only wanted to use some trains with a visit along the WCML

On contacting Virgin Trains they have now accepted bookings on this offer, the Rail Travel Vouchers need to be sent (using Royal Mail Special Delivery, as they are worth more than £40)

However, I found some destinations wouldn't work
Glasgow - Rugby
I don't what it is that Virgin Trains have against this journey, it is one of their most expensive; not only are split tickets cheaper, but so is a return via Euston!
