Can you just help yourself to sandwiches on the day from the trolley/shop? is there any limits on how many or what you can have?

And if you're travelling at the weekend, what you are given is a box about the size of a large matchbox containing a meagre quantity of nasty snacks.

Just enjoy the larger seat, window view, legroom and ambience.

never heard of it being "all you can eat/drink" ! They just come round with the trolley and offer you 1 or 2 things, I once got told off for asking for sandwiches off the trolley as I had some 2hrs earlier, staff member said she would ask others first and come back to me!

I've had the guy in the shop on a Voyager tell me to come back 3 or 4 times, whereas on others I've had guys say that you can only have so much etc.

You don't get sandwiches anymore on Euston to Chester, do you? According to Virgin's website.
