I remember reading that some 375s had the incorrect placement/amount of first class sections compared to the standard for the subclass when the refurbishment happened. One of the reports I believe was that a couple of /8s had first class at both ends instead of in the centre. It's been a long time since I read that so I might have got the exact details wrong but there were reports on those lines. However I have yet to see instances of these misplaced first class sections in real life, and I've long been unconvinced by the reports. Perhaps they were a miscommunication or people confusing /8s and /9s? Some clarification would be helpful.

Pre the "blue" refurb, all 375s had 1st class behind both cabs (except 375/3s which have only ever had one section of 1st behind one of the cabs)
After "blue" refurb, all 375/6, /7 and /8s moved to having one 1st class section in the middle of the train between the doors and the end of a intermediate carriage, whilst 375/9s retained the original location of behind both cabs. No "misplaced" 1st classes occurred during this period AFAIK
Since december, no 1st remains on SE at all, with the areas being declassified and units losing their yellow/orange vinyls on the outside

Thanks, so it was a mis-sighting after all.
