Apart from the mighty ALR, are there any rovers that have a first class option? I'd love to have a day out somewhere but enjoy it in first. South of London/Reading would be ideal.

Thanks!

Are you familiar with first class south of London/Reading? On Southeastern and southern it's mainly the same as standard bar an antimacassar on the seat headrest, on Thameslink there's usually declassified first, and Southwestern is installing 2+2 seating very similar to standard on its longer distance services. In short, the main benefit of first is it's less crowded

Not classesd as a ranger or rover but a season ticket there is a 7 day version of the Anglia Plus which I believe is available as a 1st class option, it certainly used to be.

There are few services with first class in the area that is valid though so depending on the routes you did it may not be worth it.

Have a look at this, In the search box on the National Rail Enquiries website, enter Rangers & Rovers and have a look at each TOC's offerings, It gives prices and coverage map and validity times etc
