The most important thing is to show that your enthuastic, helpful, and ready to learn.
Think of all the qualities they might want you to have and find situations where you have used these skills!
Be relaxed and be yourself! They're looking for people they can get on with and find easy to teach!
They're a nice bunch and very wise
And finally, do some research about the business. Look into the Thameslink program, the new fleet program. Find some questions to ask your assessors!

Your points are dead spot on, it was indeed the enthusiasm and being eager to learn which helped. The interview went quite well, my project took their interest and at times i nearly forgot i was in an interview (the usual fear and nerves from my previous interviews just disappeared.)
Overall it felt positive and my presentation was highly complimented. The staff there are extremely nice and both of my interviewers were very helpful and not intimidating in the slightest.

Just got the call today and ive been offered the job! the wait was killing me, but it's finally great to know im part of the railway (after over 2 years of applying). I dont think i could have done it without the help of others on here and other forums so thanks to everyone!
