Saw this on the GWR Enthusiasts Facebook page, there is a fire on the station footbridge at Paignton Station.

All trains currently cancelled.

Text below from National Rail detailing the disruption.

Route(s) affected

CrossCountry between Manchester Piccadilly / Birmingham New Street and Paignton

Great Western Railway between London Paddington / Exmouth / Exeter St Davids and Paignton

Description

A fire at Paignton station means that all lines are closed. The fire has also damaged the signalling system and as a result, trains are currently suspended between Newton Abbot and Paignton.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

A visual disruption map video is available.

CrossCountry customer advice:

Trains between Manchester Piccadilly / Birmingham New Street and Paignton will terminate / start back at Newton Abbot.

You can use your tickets at no extra cost to travel on Great Western Railway's replacement bus services between Newton Abbot and Paignton.

Great Western Railway customer advice:

Services will be terminating at Newton Abbot instead of Paignton so Torre, Torquay and Paignton will have no trains.

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost, in both directions on the following local Stagecoach bus routes:

  • route 11: Dawlish Warren (station), Dawlish (The Green), Teignmouth, Torquay (Riviera Centre)
  • route 12: Newton Abbot (station), Torre (station), Torquay (Grand Hotel), Paignton (bus station)
  • route 22: Torquay (Strand), Paignton (bus station)

A limited rail replacement service will shuttle between Newton Abbot, Torre, Torquay and Paignton, however this is not currently running to an official timetable.

Please note that at Paignton station, the surrounding roads are also closed off for safety reasons, and so please check where
the nearest pick-up and drop off points will be. For more information, please speak to station staff or use the customer help point located on the platform.
